Kidd-Luuko did a very nice job on installing my roof. They had good communications and were very prompt with the work. They cleaned up very well, but handfuls of nails were under the dumpster (in my driveway) when it was removed after they were gone.

Friendly phone contact, informative & competitive quote process, financing assistance (information), good product knowledge, delivered dumpster & materials exactly as scheduled and placed where owner requested them to be, conscious of weather and performed roofing on a clear day, friendly, approachable roofers, good protection of building & shrubbery during roofing, very, very good clean-up. Fast and professional job. Seemed like a fair price. It was difficult to get an estimate as they did not know the problem until part of the roof was removed. They wanted me to give them a price that would not be exceeded and this seemed odd. We finally agreed to pay whatever it took to get the job done. I am extremely pleased that I chose Kidd-Luukko Corp. to replace my aging asphalt shingles. Out of the four contractors I contacted to submit an estimate, they were by far the most professional and easy to work with. I explained that I was more concerned with the quality of work being performed than the cost of the project and they not only did a fantastic job, but were still very competitive in price with the other contractor's estimates. They were also the only contractor to offer reasonably-priced upgrades in materials. They finished my roof in one day and left the area as clean as when they arrived. As noted previously, the contracting phase was very well handled by Sean Kidd and his team. The roof replacement was handled very well by an apparently independent contractor for Kidd-Luukko. The contractor team was very professional, effective and efficient. The clean up was very good. There was minimal to no damage to the house or surrounding landscape. The installed shingle system seems to be doing quite well. A few minor issues due to lack of communication related to materials delivery and scheduling were handled professionally. We hired Kidd-Lukko to replace the roof for our clubhouse; and they exhibited their competence and professionalism every step of the way. From the very first meeting, to the several follow-ups I asked for prior to starting work, they were always courteous, and replied promptly. They started the day they said they would, and finished ahead of schedule. Their crew completed the job without any damage and did a good job of cleaning up. Sean Kidd was on time, very informative and straightforward. Robert and the crew were wonderful. Bid was very competitive. Finished product was beyond expectations. They even checked and repaired a separate section of roof done by prior firm for no charge. Have and would recommend to anyone tired of getting second rate work and higher prices. Gave me a quote and stuck to it! Even gave 30 days billing! Good Old-Fashioned Honest work and superior craftsmanship. Wish the original part of the job had been done by them also! I have nothing but great things to say about Kidd-Luuko Corporation. I would totally recommend them for your roofing project. Kidd-Luukko gave me the option of purchasing my own materials for the job, which I believe saved me a ton of money in the end. They gave me a list of what to get and I made the purchase at a local lumber yard. I got to choose the materials myself as opposed to using a preferred brand. In the end, getting my own materials and hiring Kidd-Luukko saved me about 40% compared to the next closest estimate. But cost is only the half of it. I have been burned by contractors in the past, so paying 40% less made me a little nervous up front, but these guys totally blew me away. They showed up as scheduled and completed the job in less than 3 days. The team was fabulous. They did a great job protecting my house and yard from debris. They completed everything as outlined on their contract and the roof came out great. They added all of the vents that my roof didn't have and re-flashed the chimney. The final results were fantastic. My roof looks incredible. But that's not all! These guys actually cleaned up too! I mean with rakes and brooms. Not a single shingle on the ground. The team was out in my yard at 9 pm with flashlights looking for stuff to pick up. It was great. Sean, Robert and the team are stars in my book. Great job guys! More...
