We needed to get our son's senior pictures taken. Kelly had us meet her at a park that has both rustic and urban backdrops. She chose a great location and her approach is innovative. The pictures turned out great. Family picture time is coming up and we are going to use her for those too. More...

Hi Carol, thanks for the review! It was a pleasure to get to know you and your son. Super glad you liked the pictures and experience.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
You get that feeling when you see the frame. Life is captured in that moment. I also love getting a unique angle that we often don't observe from because then we see details that matter to who we are.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I love to get to know my clients and understand what they imagine for their perfect session. Their interests are priority to me. A few questions I ask are, "What type of theme would you want your experience to be? Rustic, urban, simple, nature, etc.?" From there, I send them a list of locations to choose from.
What do you love most about your job?
It doesn't feel like a job. I turned my passion and hobby into a way to connect with my community. I consider teaching to be my career so that's why my photo and design services are reasonably priced. I love capturing memorable moments forever and that stays as my purpose.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's actually kind of funny, but I started my photography website when I was in high school. I was determined for it to be a big part of my life. My photography instructor supported me in those dreams and I was surprised to be honored with "Photographer of the Year" at my school. My classmates just knew that photography was part of who I am. When I went to college, I pursued my business right away and have been building upon it ever since.
Why should our clients choose you?
I care about people. I've made it my daily task to support and encourage people in their journeys, especially my students. But, being able to bring special memories to seniors, families, and couples makes my heart happy. No matter what, I will do my very best to make my clients' experiences exceptional.
