I've seen Judy's work, and it is just excellent. Â She was so kind and worked with my mom last summer when she was visiting to get a family legacy movie planned for our family. Family Legacy Videos
I travel to the elders of the family to videotape them telling their stories, family history, and memories. Next I collect photos from the family that support the videotaped stories. Then in post editing I combine the videos and photos into a memorable keepsake that the whole family and future generations will love.
Memorial Videos
After a loved one passes the family sends me the pictures they would like in a memorial video. I incorporate them in a slideshow video with favorite music. All the photos are touched up, the slideshow theme is simple, but elegant, and appropriate title information is included. This video is often shown at the memorial service and almost always lets attendees learn things they didn't know about their friend/family member.
Business Videos
First I meet with my clients to learn the objectives for their videos and work with them on their scripts. Then I travel to my clients to videotape their videos. (I usually end up moving a lot of furniture around to get the best views.)
The business videos have many flavors: introductory videos, informational videos, how to videos, about me videos, and instructional videos.
I recommend very short videos and many times we get multiple videos out of an original 30 minute idea.
I offer bulk pricing for multiple videos and also do not have to charge high prices to cover the cost of a studio and staff.
Photo retouching
I always retouch the photos i include in my videos.
So, if someone wants me to scan their paper photos for them, they also will be retouched.
Consulting
I help people work out strategies and processes for the mountains of family photos they have. Often people are frozen because they don't know where to begin in sorting their boxes of old photos or what they should do with them.
I have tons of ideas on what to do with your old photos, believing that photos for our future generations need stories or descriptions to go along with them.
I'm very good at brainstorming ideas and helping clients to arrive at solutions for their unique situarions.
