Katie Mathews is not only one of the most talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with, but also a truly kind and caring person who brings this to the table when she captures special moments from life! Katie not only photographed our newborns, but came to our home and did wonders with our newborn premie Triplets because they were too high risk to leave our home. My twins were fresh out of the nicu, monitors and all. Katie and her team were absolutely amazing. So accommodating and caring and on top of that got the most AMAZING shots. Katie is hands down the BEST newborn photographer in Wilmington, NC. She not only photographed my son (Oct. 2014) and daughter (March 2016) for their newborn shoots, but has also done our family photos for the past two years (my profile pic was shot by Katie! ). My mother gave me a very hard time about the money I spent on my son's newborn shoot, so when it was my daughter's turn I invited her along to the 3 hour session - my mother said she had no idea so much work went in to the shoot and was so IMPRESSED by Katie and her assistant Catherine - in fact she said I probably under paid! We have since moved away from Wilmington, but will be driving back up next month for my daughter's 1st Birthday shoot - there isn't anyone else I would want to photograph this special milestone!!! I've known Katie for almost five years now. She did my first son newborn pictures and I was just in love on how they turned out I kept coming back. We did 3 months, 6 months1 year cake smash, Christmas pictures. Even when I had my daughter I continued to come back. Our most recent experience was the Santa session. I was unable to find anyone with the quality she provides in Jacksonville so I will continue to drive to her in Wilmington.
