What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great lighting!!! My home studio uses natural light pouring through a big window combined with a professional lighting kit. I also play music to keep the session relaxing and fun.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The most popular question I am asked is "What do I wear?" First, it's important that YOU stand out in your photos, not your clothes. Once you are booked on my calendar, I'll send you wardrobe tips so you are confident about what to wear.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that every client and every photo shoot is different. I love all of the different people I have the chance to meet. And I love the editing process - it's such an artistic process. And I love the reactions once I deliver photos to my clients "Oh my gosh, I LOVE my photos" just makes my day!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I decided to leave corporate America and do photography full-time after receiving so much positive feedback from friends and clients like "You HAVE to be a photographer!!"
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm easy to work with. I take a lot of pride in my work. I want to make sure my clients are happy with the end results.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For two years I only did photo shoots outdoors. My home portraits studio is open again, but only one person comes in at a time. I am fully vaccinated and I hope this helps keep my clients safe.
