My family did a photo shoot with Mary and she did a wonderful job. We have a son who is very serious and can be difficult to photograph because he doesn’t smile easily. She got some amazing pictures of him that really show his personality, serious face and all. She was also able to capture the rare moments where he had a genuine laugh. She also did a wonderful job with my daughter and her two year old golden retriever. She worked well with getting a good shot of the relationship between my daughter and her dog. Family pictures turned out great! My favorites are the candid shots when we didn’t know that she was taking a picture. We also got a couple of sample pictures very quickly after the shoot, and had a full array of pictures within a few days, which I thought was very fast for all the work that she put in! 10/10 would recommend! I am grateful that Mary is so patient working with kids and is able to do posed portraits as well as capture the emotions of candid shots. She is knowledgeable in lighting, backgrounds, and camera techniques. I especially love the pictures taken as the sun is coming down that capture more deeply the beauty of the natural surroundings. Mary really knew the good spots in the area for backgrounds. She has a great eye for detail when posing you and knows a lot about which lighting is the best.
