Communication & Trust is the key to successful dog training. The combination of proper training techniques, education and consistency creates a confident owner which creates a confident dog. Training is never ending, when you engage your dog and communicate what's acceptable and not acceptable, you will see your dog looking to you for direction, That is a wonderful thing!

We have just completed the K9 Cure Dog Training 6 week Basic Obedience course with our beagle puppy. It was totally AWESOME! ! Barbara is an absolute professional. She educates the owners as she is educating the dog and provides a lot of suggestions, explanations and support. Barbara also makes herself available via phone, text or email for any questions/concerns that arise. We can’t wait to start our next level of training with her. Thanks to Barbara and her amazing training, our 7 month old puppy spent his day at Marist College watching the lacrosse game. He behaved like a perfect gentleman and everyone kept saying how well behaved he was! We weren’t sure how he would be with all the stimulus but he did great-Barbara spent part of our training with our pup out at the park, Lowe’s and Home Depot. It really made all the difference. Barbara is a great trainer!!!! She really knows dogs and was great (and patient!!) at teaching my husband and me how to interact with our high energy puppy, Leela! We tried Petsmart, but were not given enough instruction there that applied to what we were experiencing with our puppy. Barbara instantly assessed what Leela needed from us, and taught us how to communicate with her in simple, easy to follow steps. What do you love most about your job?
I love showing dog owners what they are capable of when they work together as a team. Communication is the key element that must be present between owner and dog! I help develop that communication which creates a trust that is unshakable. The possibilities are endless when you have a team rather than a owner and a dog.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve worked with dogs for many years in different aspects. I trained my own dogs and people noticed how well behaved they were and asked the name of the trainer I used . Doing something that I love seemed to be the next step.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because my programs work. I teach you exactly what I have taught my own dogs. I walk you through the steps and if something doesn’t work, we try the same thought process just apply it a different way. When you sign on with me you have complete access to me, even after our training sessions are over.
My motto is training dogs, educating owners. Most of what's going on with our dog starts with us. Today is the day to change! Let me help.

I can provide them if a client insists on them but in person is always better for everyone involved.
Puppy training
A 5 week course for puppies 8-15 weeks old going over everything from housebreaking to commands. Communication between you & your dog is the key to successful training. Simple commands, huge impact!
Basic Obedience
5 weeks course for 16 weeks and older. Communication between you & your dog is the key to successful dog training. My BO program that will lay solid foundation & create a connection that will last a lifetime. It’s never to late to train your dogs, Let me help you on your journey.
Dog walking/Pet sitting
I offer different levels of Dog walking/Pet Sitting. Custom needs can be discussed and appropriately accommodated if possible. Contact me for more information.
Pack walks
This is great for reactive dogs. Provides a safe and effective way to help dogs who just do not know how to act around other dogs.
