I recently had a mostly outdoor photoshoot with Saumya after I got admitted to the New York bar in Albany. My aunt and I enjoyed working with Saumya. Prior to meeting she shared with me possible poses to think of for the shoot. Her warm personality made doing the shoot enjoyable and she clearly instructs you on how to position yourself in different lighting when outdoors. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional photographer who knows her craft. Saumya is a very gifted photographer. She did our 5 year anniversary photo shoot and from the start she made us super comfy. Her suggestions about poses helped us a lot. We had so much fun as well . Saumya did an amazing job capturing the sweetest moments of raw emotion through my wedding, both of us and our guests! My husband and I couldn't stop going through the photos once we got them. I love them.

Before the day, Saumya listened closely to our vision and what we were looking for. She asked her own questions to make sure she understood exactly what we wanted, the timeline, the venue, and what shots we wanted.

It was clear she cares a lot about her craft—from the moment she got to our venue, she was busy running around trying to capture everything she could. We only gave her about 10 minutes for couple portraits and they came out amazing even with such little to work with from us! The delivery of the photos were also SUPER fast because we used a package on Snappr. We got the whole album back in basically less than a week.

Lastly, Saumya is a joy to work with as a person. She's genuine, hard-working, patient, and a good listener. I felt comfortable with her the entire time. Thank you so much, Saumya!! More...

Saumya was amazing to work with. She is hardworking, extremely dedicated and very flexible and accomadating. She took all of our requests and feedback. She captured our micro wedding and during the ceremony time flies so fast but after reviwing the pictures later it bought back all those memories. She is very considerate and spent a lot of time with us pre event to plan shots and asked us what we wanted and also added her own personal touch. Saumya was incredibly nice since our first contact on Instagram, answered me very quickly and her upbeat personality made us feel like she was the photographer we wanted to go with from the start. The whole process was very straightforward for us. It was a very simple small courthouse wedding which might have made things simpler, but all along Saumya was available to answer questions and make suggestions. We were pleasantly surprised by how involved she was, her dedication to finding good locations to shoot, and how she visited the surroundings of the city hall before the ceremony to get more familiar with the area and get inspiration. I remember when I talked to her for the first time she told me please enjoy your special day and trust me. On my wedding day, when Saumya arrived I was already anxious and nervous. As soon as, she saw me she calmed me down started working her charm and made everyone laugh and cheer with her. We all became so calm and really enjoyed our day. It is awesome to get a good photographer but to have an amazing, fun loving personality is very important to make everyone involved in the shoot feel comfortable. Saumya is perfect for that. And the photos she delivered is out of this world. She captured every vision that I had to the T and then some. You can see the passion she has for her work and how beautifully she justifies it.
