Julie’s worked with us on our daughter’s wedding cake, and it was such a great experience. The staff are professional, open to fun new ideas and their prices are ideal. We had a small issue the day of the wedding, completely my fault in miss counting guests. Two hours before the ceremony Julie’s staff jumped into gear and were able to provide us with an additional 50 donuts! They were so incredibly supportive, compassionate and a joy to work with. The staff has the most pleasant and heartwarming smiles and was eager to wait on us, offering the favorites and suggesting other options for first timers, the food was exceptional and the ambience was perfect, I will definitely go back, so many choices, I wanted to try everything, and I must admit I will continue to go back to accomplish just that, don't go hungry because you won't want to leave until you have tried everything.

I came here for a work meeting and I had been here once before. The first time I had the chicken salad on a croissant with fries. At this visit I had the hotter than Texas burger which was decent. If you like spicy food I highly recommend you try this. Right level of spice, well cooked. I saw that they have 'bring your own bubbly' brunch on the weekends which I'm yet to try. We are so glad that we chose Julie's to cater our wedding at Garrison Gardens. We worked closely with Jennifer who was instrumental in making our special day run smoothly, especially since we were from out of town. She had worked with all of our other vendors previously and was able to make sure that everything happened flawlessly - from receiving the cake flowers from our florist to making sure our friends had an easy clean up after the wedding. We used Julie's Deli for our wedding a year ago today and I wanted to take a minute to talk about how WONDERFUL it was! They walked us through every step and worked with our busy schedule. We live in the Dallas area, but we were getting married in Texarkana, and they made sure everything went off without a hitch. The staff they brought to help serve food were so friendly. I've eaten there several times and it is just all really good. From salads to burgers to desserts, it's fresh, and it's real food made with lots of care. I've also ordered the white chocolate strawberry cake and the cupcakes for birthdays, and they are wonderful. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
It all starts with listening to what the client really wants and having the creativity and flexibility to make that come true. We have a team of chefs and bakers that create everything in-house so we have a lot of room for customization.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything. No really, food is hard...if you don't love it, don't do it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
You could say the Julie’s team is made from scratch just like our food is. We’ve got quite the interesting crew, and each of these phenomenal people are the ingredients and the seasoning of what we do. Without them, their attention to detail and their hard-working dedication, Julie’s just wouldn’t be the staple of Texarkana cuisine that y’all know us for.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our staff is following all the state and national CDC guidelines - masks, pre-shift temperature checks, increased sanitization, spacing restrictions in addition to our already strict cleaning policy.
We have an early shopping hour 9am-10am for those who feel better about crowdless shopping. And we have added curbside pick up and personal shoppers for those who aren't able to come inside.
