We are so extremely happy that we chose JSQ to do our pool and backyard. From start to finish they were professional and always on time. We truly felt that we were a priority throughout the entire process. As far as the work they did, everything was perfect. They measured, gave lots of input, and always made sure we were happy before moving on to the next stage. I really can't recommend them enough. The entire project took 8-10 weeks total, they were quick and really focus on one job at a time. I don't know many builders that can say the same. They really do deserve all 5 stars! More...

Jim and Kandi were great. They make such a great team. Jim was the idea person yet Kandi keeps him grounded- at least on our project.
The pool and spa were finished on time and now we are enjoying both. It was a very great experience with just a few hiccups but those were mainly due to our lack of experience with pools.

From the moment I contacted JSQ They were completely engaged with my project. The day I requested info from them on houzz the contacted me within 10 minutes, and made an effort to meet with me the same day. They listened to my ideas injected their own, and we found a common balance between the two with no push either way. They heard all of my concerns and responded to all questions in a timely manner. I had a pool company come to build a pool at my house. They would never show up on time and constantly tried to over charge on their quoted price. We fired them. I had a half complete pool and was worried. Found JSQ Custom Pools and our worries went away. From the moment Jim came to our place I knew we were in good hands and our dream pool was again a reality. He had an incredible amount of knowledge and even gave some ideas which improved the look and function of our pool. Enjoying a beautiful sparkling pool and spa in my own backyard has been a dream for many years. JSQ Custom Pools made that dream come true. The project was lead by Jim Queen who did a full yard remodel! I would recommend JSQ on any pool construction or yard remodel project.
Jim Queen was perfect at managing the project and keeping us informed. Jim always responded to our text messages and calls quickly, and followed up on anything that we had concerns about. When our needs changed, he made it happen. The work was performed on time, as scheduled, and the schedule was communicated in advance.
I feel very fortunate to have worked with Jim and the crew. After meeting with pool contractors, Jim's knowledge and insight about how to approach our job and location was the best. We hired JSQ Improvements for a remodel on our pool including stonework, new pebbletec, tile and LED lights. Start to finish in less than a week! They managed to repair a spa wall leak that nobody else would or could. Jim was very professional (as were all of the crew) and was on point with returning text messages and communication in general. We met with several pool companies before going with JSQ Improvements and glad we did. The other pool companies sent sales representatives and with JSQ you are working directly with the owners/contractor, builder. No middleman which is nice. Jim and Kandi are great and kept us informed the entire process. They have the best subs in the business and are very responsive. Our pool/spa was completed just under 2 months and actually would have been done sooner if it wasn't for our city and their requirements. JSQ Improvements was the best pool remodeling company we could have chosen to remodel our pool. He was the ultimate professional, has a great crew, respectful of our yard (no horrible messes left behind), very fair price and an awesome design team. The Baja shelf he suggested was the best choice we could have agreed upon..two umbrella spots and chairs to go under them...YES! Pebble tech looks great and the LED light that rotates colors is so cool...our pool went from 1960's with a trurtle mosaic on the bottom to the most awesome updated design you could hope for. James Queen is very professional. I am happy to found him. He and his wife Kandi helped us a lot for our pool and spa at one of our vacation houses. I took a lot of advantage from their experiences not only about the pool and spa but also the other things beyond that. We received a lot of compliment from our guests for the job they did. I had a great experience with JSQ improvements. Jim, the owner is so knowledgable and he was extremely patient with me! Being a home owner and wanting my pool to be beautiful!
