What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A great photograph to me is one that is authentic and genuine. A natural smile, expression and movement always photographs the very best. I am very good at making someone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I also don't take an incredibly long time to photograph each pose, so it keeps my clients fresh and we get a lot of variety during the photoshoot.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would love to know what exactly you are looking for and communicate very well so I can make sure you are happy with the outcome. I will take as much direction as you would like to give me or as much freedom as you would like to give me.
What do you love most about your job?
I do what I love. I can't imagine having any other kind of job. I genuinely get so excited during every photoshoot after I snap a couple photos and look at the screen to see a product I am so excited about. I also love meeting all my clients and getting to know them during the time of the photoshoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love how relational it is when I am corresponding with clients and with a client on a shoot. I love owning my own business because I get to be with you from the start of our conversation to the delivery of the final product.
Why should our clients choose you?
I hope you would choose me for the style of my photography. I do really appreciate when clients seek me out because they recognize my photography being set apart from other photographers. I'm also a pretty assertive but also laid back person to work with, I will never make you nervous and I will make you feel as comfortable as possible. We'll probably end up friends at the end of the shoot. Happens often.
