Choosing Joe for my first professional headshot experience was a great decision. I sit in a lot of tough meetings but for me, getting a headshot was so much more stressful than any of those meetings combined. However, Joe took time in the beginning just chatting and getting to know me, which helped in calming those nerves. He learns who your audience of the photo is likely going to be, observes facial expressions and body language so he knows what the "money shot" should convey. After the photo shoot was complete, we looked at a lot great shots (who knew I was that photogenic!) and managed to narrow it down to THE "money shot". It was important to me that the picture wasn't just a great picture, but it needed to say who I am as a leader, but more importantly as an individual. He captured that with just the right smile, tip of the chin, tilt and turn of the head, and glimmer in the eyes. When I'm ready for an updated professional picture, I know who I'm calling. Joe took my most recent headshot for work and WOW! First and foremost, he was very easy to work with. For those of us getting our picture taken for work, we may lack experience in front of a camera. Joe directed me well, made me feel comfortable, and helped me look photo ready with available accessories. Secondly, he took the time to review my career goals with me and ensure he captured a photo that delivered my, for lack of a better word, attitude. We found ourselves coming back to this vision of attitude we were trying to convey when reviewing and selecting our favorite photos. I was lucky to put in a simple 'head shots near me' google search and found Joe. I am not someone who enjoys getting their picture taken and was not looking forward to getting this done for my work's website. HE WAS THE BEST!!! He made me feel very comfortable, communicated very clearly about what we were doing and why. He has your best interests at heart and is very talented to capture "your best looking self".
