The secret to taking a great photograph is to find great lighting and help create a natural moment for a client to feel comfortable and happy.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Some questions I would ask a client include:
- What is the purpose of this shoot for you?
- Do you have particular shots that you are looking for?
- Can we create a mood board together so I know the style you are expecting?
- What is something I should know about you?
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to meet new people and creating photographs that bring genuine joy to people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years of loving photography as a hobby but not having the time to turn it into a business, I finally took the plunge! I have had people tell me in the past that they would pay for photos I took and particularly when I saw many of my friends getting engaged and doing photoshoots, I knew that was what I wanted to do. While most of my work is people-centered photography, I also love commercial food photography too.
