Joey teaches my 10 year old son guitar and drums. He is friendly, knowledgeable and always punctual. He is also flexible when our schedules conflict and as a busy mom, that is very helpful. Joey adapts well to my son’s abilities and needs and picks music that is appropriate and enjoyable for him to play. What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people. And I love music. So helping people learn to love music is the best way I can spend my time!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My work is always up to my standards. I set my schedule. I get to spend my time how I see fit!
When i feel motivated I get so much work done. Then I get to enjoy my time off, instead of worrying about what troubles tomorrow will bring.
Why should our clients choose you?
We've all had a teacher in our life that put too much pressure on us. Where you felt you couldn't ask questions or share your ideas... My goal is to be the exact opposite of that. There is expectation without pressure. I want you to enjoy your time learning music and I want you to be excited for next week's lesson, not stressed or nervous.
No question is a dumb question, and every idea has validity in a subject as personal as music.

YES! I have become fairly proficient teaching virtually this past year. With a combination of sharing links and taking notes, my students can succeed.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am only offering virtual lessons right now as to be safe during the current pandemic.
