What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and families and capturing timeless moments for individuals, couples, and families to have photos that they will have for years to come.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography was always a love of mine, but I had no clue how to photograph anything. I would admire photographs and pick up on the creative ways people used their lens to tell the story of people, places, and things. One day, my husband needed me to take some pictures for him at an event, and that is when my passion was birthed. The joy
I felt using the camera to find those golden moments throughout the event is something I never wanted to let go of because I didn’t know how to use the equipment. I became determined to learn the technical aspects so that my head's vision became an image that could be shared with others.
Eventually, the day came where other people noticed my passion and paid me to capture their precious moments. Not only did my knowledge and love for photography grow, but my business was born

On your special day, the small details matter the most so let me help you. The Joanna Ng Photography wedding experience begins with a detailed conversation about your vision for the wedding day. We go over everything from the emotions you want your photos to convey to the moments that you don’t want to slip away. Once we are clear on the vision, we review the details of the ceremony, venue, and wedding party so that all logistics are covered. Finally, I arrive on the special day with an assistant to photograph all the little things that make this big day the best time of your life. The work doesn’t stop there. Once your ceremony is complete, I will carefully select the images that complete your vision. Whether you want the photos printed or they remain digital, you can relive the moment any time you want.
Family Portraits
I’m a mom of four, so I know the struggles of getting the perfect family shot. For free, I’m going to tell you a secret --- the perfect shot is captured when you allow everyone in your family to be themselves and your photographer gets to tag along for the day. That’s it!
