Our dogs love Meredith!! They are two Yorkies with definite large personalities. The male would have some big surprises for her like pulling items from the pantry or off the counter. While the our little girl would hide when she would have an accident in the house. No matter how big or small the damage they did Meredith took it in stride! She loved them as her own. We are definitely going to miss her and her daily updates on their shenanigans! We are moving out of state and one of our only regrets is not being able to have her come with us! We recommend her services highly and we never had second thought about hiring her or listening to her advice! More...

If I could give 10 stars I would! J&M took care of our dog Tucker for 8 years, for daily walks, as a boarder, and they also dog & house sat for us while we were on vacation. They’ve also taken care of my parents’ animals and home. Meredith not only treated our dog like family, but us as well. Tucker couldn’t have been more excited every time Meredith came to the house to see him. She comforted Tucker when he was afraid of thunder or fireworks, she came up with possible homeopathic options we hadn’t thought of to try when he got sick, and then mourned his loss with me as if he was her own. I literally could go on and on. There are not a lot of people I would trust implicitly with my dog or house, but J&M couldn’t be more trustworthy, kind, and big-hearted. They know dogs, love dogs, and really just want what’s best for them. I literally couldn’t recommend them more highly. More...

We contacted jay and Meredith to help us train our 1 year old german shepherd who at the time was very aggressive towards strangers and didnt listen to our commands. Right off the bat jay was very professional, respectful, and reasonably priced. We signed up for his 4 week training course and i was shocked by the end result. Butch (our dog) did a complete 180 and we are extremely happy with the results. Thank you jay and Meredith for being such caring individuals and helping us with our Butch. More...

I went bird hunting with Jay and his trained dog Suki, which was my first time doing this type of hunting. While Suki was amazing at finding birds, I found her ability to listen to commands and stay in point despite distractions incredibly impressive. She did not go after birds on the ground, just simply stayed in point until we were able to kick them up. She retrieved on command and her ability to find birds was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was a great hunt. Suki's demeanor for such a young dog can only be attributed to the detailed and patient training she was given. I wish they worked with kids! More...

I was fortunate enough to meet Meredith while she was walking another dog. Myles instantly fell in love with her and she with him. Every day she would send the most professional looking pictures (seriously) to let me know my boy was doing well. When Myles died, she was the first one there to cry with me. Then i adopted Ziggy and things were a bit different. He is aggressive and does not like new people. She came by every day until he got more comfortable with her. He adores her so much that when we moved and she came to visit, he was overjoyed like I've never seen him. Yelping and jumping all over the place. I was kinda jealous. We had Jay work with him to help lessen the aggression. Ziggy went from violently attacking Jay to not even paying attention to him. I am so grateful for what they've done for my babies and as a result, call them friends. More...

Dog Training

I was looking for a dog trainer for my three dogs (all about 20lbs) that needed help with listening to commands, walking past other dogs without issues, and some behavioral problems. Jason did a great job- he has a 4 week program where he comes to your house and works with training both you and your pup(s). We started seeing behavioral corrections within the first week. What I loved is that this program does NOT focus on treat training (who constantly carries around treats). My dogs have gotten much better and we can use this program going forward with any new dog we adopt. I highly recommend! More...

Ziggy was abused and given up by three families. At 16 lbs, he could be quite the terror. He hated people outside our home and would bark, growl, lunge, and sometimes attempt to bite anyone that walked by us. And because he is little and so cute (no, he really is) people always want to pet him so it became a bigger problem. Ziggy would even lunge for my girlfriend if she got too close to me. He absolutely hated Jay! I had to get a muzzle because Ziggy would not stop attacking him.
Thanks to Jay's patience and guidance, he was actually able to hold and cuddle Ziggy. As the training progressed, the behaviors changed and aggression went away. People don't cross the street when they see us coming anymore. I don't have to justify his bad behavior anymore. And it solidified in my mind that there aren't bad dogs, just bad parents.

Q&As

We love helping you come together with your pet and making your home a happy home by creating that bond that is so important.

Growing up with dogs I been fortunate to experience their love and the bond we create, I was told growing up how as a baby our dog saved me from who knows what while left alone in the home. The bond I have created with the dogs I have cared for since having this business has been a gift on its own, I had boarded a dog off an on for over 7 years and he truly was my best friend and protected me from someone coming into the home and has helped me on so many occasions. This business goes beyond the daily walks, the boarding, and the training, it is our hearts.

As stated above, for us, it is more than just daily walks, training and boarding, your dogs, your pets they are our pets. They are our family just as much as they are yours and they are in our hearts. Not a day goes by that I don't miss the ones that pass or move away. We want to help as much as we want to earn a living, we don't want to see dogs fail and end up in shelters. We want to see them succeed and thrive. We don't want you not to adopt or rescue because you work all day when we are here and able to walk them in the afternoon. We want that dog to be rescued and trained to be your dog. This is why we are not just a dog walking service, this is why we have a certified trainer, this is why I am studying to be a naturopath. We want to be able to help with anything that you need help with and guide you with your pet.
