JLJ Construction

I worked with JLJ Construction for three years (over the pandemic) on a 400 sq ft ADU project. During the last year and half, I was treated as though they were doing me a favor when I finally was scheduled for work. I also had to call many times in order to get them to even consider working on my property. Finally they just stopped taking my calls and ignored letters listing unfinished work, which included repairing a foundation leak and an electric fence that wouldn't close every time it rained, refinishing it due to gouges created by their installation, reinstalling six doors that don't close properly due to incorrect installation. Four are warped and two don't close or lock completely. One of these doors was the third one they installed. Another was an interior door they installed on the exterior so it expanded with moisture. Finally some bricks they laid on my terrace after installing a new sewer line underneath are bulging and covered with a white film that won't wash off. They are well aware of these problems but have not contacted me for over 6 months now in an attempt to rectify the situation. More...
