What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Sensitivity and experience have given me the necessary skills to anticipate and capture collections of genuine images through a delicate balance of composing images and discreetly capturing those quiet, intimate moments that are so often missed.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I ask clients questions about their story, their needs and all the details thereof, as well as their expectations. This helps us get to know each other and ensures that we are a good fit.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people to deliver a high quality experience and product that goes above all expectations. From the start, I provide a custom personalized experience in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. My style is natural, fun and unobtrusive. There are hundreds of details and stories within the story of a photography session or event and I want to capture them all.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a love of the arts, photography as well as design and architecture. In college, I majored in Fine Art, emphasis Photography and Environmental Science (my career path until children). After taking time off to raise kids and many years of volunteering my photography services, I decided to officially start my own business. As a significant amount of my business has been working for designers and realtors, I recently became a licensed real estate salesperson in order to better serve my clients.

I have been in the real estate business for many years photographing luxury homes for realtors, designers and architects as well as an owner of investment properties. I now look forward to working with buyers and sellers in the Hudson Valley and Westchester County to better represent their properties and to help them find their perfect new home.
