Home is Austin, Texas, where I’ve lived with my husband and daughter since 2014. I grew up in Juárez, Chihuahua, México, where I also studied electronic media and theater arts in college. It was then that I fell in love with still photography, and I have been taking photos professionally for nearly 10 years now.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
To take a good portrait, connecting with the person you have in front of the camera, creating a safe space for the person to feel comfortable and open to have their photo taken.

What do you love most about your job?
Being able to share my point of view through the lens and working with people. I am forever inspired by the love I get to witness through my lens, by the beauty of nature, and by my subjects’ trust in my work.

To have the freedom to tell my story through the eyes of my lens
