Jenny was such a pleasure to work with. The entire process start to finish was wonderful. We did the family lifestyle shoot, which involved her coming to our home and then our neighborhood park to document candid family moments. Jenny made us feel prepared, comfortable, and happy. Jenny came into our home the first week after our baby was born. Â She was compassionate and patient with us as new parents navigating all the awkwardness of that first week home. Â I felt nothing close to glamorous a couple days post pardum, but she was so calm and spent so much time just chatting with us, that I was really able to feel more comfortable with wherever I was at. Â That in itself is a beautiful gift! Â Jenny was gentle with us and our little one. Â The images are amazing and she captured the newness of that time and sacred little moments between my husband, baby and I. Â I am so grateful! Â I highly recommend Jenny for newborn shots. We had an outdoor family session with Jenny Penney in the fall. She captured wonderful candid pictures of our girls and definitely the best pictures ever of my wife and I together. I was impressed at how quickly she was able to get our youngest daughter to cast away her camera shyness. In fact, Jenny made it easy for all of us to relax. My wife and I have a sensational set of photos of the two of us enjoying life in our lovely little home and neighborhood, thanks to Jenny Penney! Jenny Penney is the first photographer who really captured the essence of us living in our little home and created these . . . I have to say it . . . Works of Art that will be iconic for the memories of our time in this home, long after we've moved on!I really wish we had known her when we were in our previous home, we have plenty of photos from then, but nothing that captures the essence like the photos she took of us in our current home.Now that I think about it, maybe we need some great photos of us enjoying our home in springtime! Jenny Penney photographed my growing family when my son was 2 years old. We went to nearby Lincoln Park in Seattle so he'd be in his natural environment. My son loved her, my wife and I had a great time, and the photos are magical. Our son is now 6, and Jenny's photos really let us remember what he was like at 2. We had such a great time that we recommended Jenny to other families in our circle of friends with young children. Jenny Penney's family lifestyle photo shoot was fantastic.  We were sending our first born off to college and realized we had not had family photos done in over a decade.  Jenny immediately set the kids at ease and was especially great with our rather prickly 16 year old.  We got some great photos of the whole family, but the ones I cherish the most are of the two kids together, laughing and enjoying each others company and then kicking back and cooking a meal together. It was such a special experience for us all.  I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone thinking about getting candid shots of  daily family life, or special moments with the youngest members of the family.  She was amazing at catching the family at ease.  You'll be glad you booked a session with Jenny Penney.  We were!
