My husband (fiancé at the time) and I met Jenna last Spring after she was recommended to us from our wedding planner. We instantly both liked Jenna and felt at ease during our first appointment with her. She did our engagement photos last Fall in downtown Frederick and they were great!!! I was so nervous and not very comfortable in front of the camera but Jenna and her assistant made the process easy and effortless. I knew after seeing our engagement photos that the wedding pictures would be just as fabulous - and they were! Honestly, besides doing a wonderful job capturing my husband and I, her attention to detail and capturing those details of our wedding day meant the world to me. I recently had a newborn photo session with Jenna for my twins. I couldn't have asked for a better day! As a new mom, I was nervous-would the babies cooperate? Would all the pictures be of them screaming, not quite the memories I want to capture. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Jenna. Her studio was warm, comfortable and relaxing. As we got started, Jenna took the time to get comfortable with each baby and make sure they were as well. Jenna took her time with the babies, even if they were squirming or fussy. The end result is absolutely stunning!! At the preview, Jenna played the slideshow for us and I was brought to tears! Her talent is amazing and she was able to capture moments I will cherish forever! When searching for a photographer for our wedding, I had two things that I ultimately wanted:
1. a photographer that knew the significance of the location of our ceremony & reception, and
2. a photographer that when I look at their photos, I was really wowed by them.
Jenna was the best of both worlds. She grew up in Carroll County, so I knew she would understand the significance that I was looking for, and her photos gave me that WOW factor I was looking for. From the point of first contact until the time of reviewing our photos after our wedding, Jenna was wonderful and very professional. Jenna has such a passion for photography, and it really shows in her work. She makes you feel very calm, and is very reassuring about any situation that you may be encountering on your wedding day. She wants to make you sure are happy with the quality of service and photos that she provide. To anyone who is contemplating between photographers, choose Jenna. You will never regret you choice! Wonderful! We used Jenna for family photos the day before the wedding at the Lavender Festival. We wish we'd used her for the wedding, too. She was great about setting up the date rather late.
