Jen Jones Weddings

I don't even know where to begin with writing a review for Jen because she is so amazing. When looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who could capture candid moments and authentic emotions - Jen did just that and more. From the moment we talked to her on the phone for our initial consultation she felt like an old friend. She is incredibly personable and has a way of connecting with people and seeing their vision that is hard to find. For our engagement shoot she helped us to relax and feel like ourselves, and by the time it was our wedding day she truly felt like a part of the family. We can't imagine the day without her there! Her love of life is infectious and she naturally lifts up everyone around her. Leading up to our big day she thought of everything and made the planning process a dream. She made sure to ask us what photos we wanted and perhaps more importantly what photos we DIDN'T want. She really took the time to get to know us so that she could capture who we were perfectly. She was easy to communicate with and made sure we had every last detail planned out. She even accommodated my last minute request to have photos of a father-daughter first look and a wardrobe change reveal to my husband. She pulled these moments off effortlessly and the photos are some of my favorites! Additionally, my husband and I both come from divorced families so there was a lot to coordinate during family photos. She did this with ease and made the experience absolutely painless for us! Not only is Jen amazing to work with - her work is absolutely breathtaking. We didn't want the typical staged wedding photos, we wanted raw images that genuinely captured us and the emotions of our wedding day. Looking back at our photos now it is like we are transported back in time and can truly feel how every moment felt. We are so grateful to have these photos to look at for the rest of our lives to remind us of not just how our wedding day looked but also how it felt. My wife and I are so happy we chose Jen as our photographer. Not only did the photos turn out amazing, but she was super great to work with through the whole wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, she fit right in with our family and friends and made the process of taking photos a fun experience! We hired Jen for our wedding this past summer and she was absolutely incredible! Her professionalism, attention to detail and her ability to effortlessly manage timelines & distracted family members, all the while making sure that we are captured in our absolute best light. My husband isn't particularly fond of having tons of photos taken and I saw that Jen made him feel comfortable and even enjoy the process. She communicated with us throughout the planning process so that we knew exactly what to expect and offered valuable advice when deciding on how to best coordinate the flow of our evening. We hired Jen to be the photographer at our wedding....and she KNOCKED it out of the PARK! She goes so far above and beyond being the best photographer-she helped with the timeline, any questions I had while planning, and even worked behind the scenes to make magic happen during our big day.
