What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's all about being your authentic self, exuding confidence and having fun! And also not over thinking it. For people who aren't comfortable in front of the camera, I always try to keep their mind on something less intimidating than the camera. If it's a wedding or engagement photos, I tell them to focus on each other. If it's a solo portrait, I give them an activity. It definitely can get uncomfortable with a camera simply pointed at you!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's your inspiration? What's your vision? Communication is of the utmost importance. Relay your ideas and we'll make the best photos!
What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing moments and memories, documenting life, creating art. We're visual people. Let's make these moments last a lifetime!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was bored at my last desk job. I wanted what I did for a living to have more meaning, for myself and for others.

Wedding Photography
I provide half day & full day wedding photography coverage, personalized to your day. My style is more documentary but is also editorial. I can provide getting ready images, first look photos, family portraits and detail shots, in addition to ceremony & reception coverage.
I can also help with organizing timelines and shot lists.
Food Photography
I have worked with some of the top restaurants in LA, from Majordomo & Maude, to Anajak Thai & Stella. I was also a regular contributor to Foodism magazine in Toronto, before I moved to LA. I can do food beauty shots, behind the scenes imagery and making of shots.
Event Photography
I regularly work with corporate clients on their special events from Emmy & Oscar related parties to summer & holiday parties. I've also photographed mitzvahs, anniversaries and birthday parties. I like to capture the atmosphere of the event through candids & posed group shots.
Portrait Photography
As a seasoned, experienced fashion & lifestyle photographer, I can help you with your portrait photography, whether that's graduation photos, corporate/actor headshots, or family photos. They can be posed or something different with a twist & some fun. I like to make use of locations to make things more interesting.
