Having a Female Focused Protection Agency and being a Personal Protection Agent & Firearms Instructor this was so needed. I needed head shots not only for my website but for my career as well . I was referred to John and so so happy. You are by far a fabulous photographer. I'm honored to know you and honored to have you taking my pictures now and in the future!

As a Firearms Instructor I work with Actors too teaching them the fundamentals in front of the camera as well as training them on the range when they are ready to learn. Having the photos taken was what I needed.

I have done 2 different shoots with John over the past 5 years (with 2 Dana Patrick shoots in there and some Editorial/PR shoots as well- for different needs on each), as well as referred 3 coaching/consulting clients (13-year old female, 20 year old female, and 40 year old male) to him. He is the BEST VALUE headshot photographer for his price range, which is quite reasonable. He covers 3 looks in his basic package, and additional looks are at a nominal fee.If you're not looking to go the Bjoern Kommerell / Dana Patrick / Theo and Juliet route of $$$$$$$, but you want to have headshots that can fool people into thinking you spent at least $$$$, when really you only spent $$, I truly cannot think of anyone else who gets the job done CONSISTENTLY. There are some inexpensive photographers who get lucky with a few shots out of your 200 images, but the rest end up looking amateur.With John, you WILL get usable shots in at least a couple different looks!For women, I do recommend bringing your own Hair/Makeup Person, as I feel that this prevents so much extra work on the back end of retouching flyaway hairs or having things be off. It is always great to, at minimum, bring a friend with a detailed eye to watch your hair or fix your blouse when it is askew- as this can ruin otherwise great shots. It is worth the investment. I cannot recall if he has a H/MU person he consistently uses in the way that other photographers have 2 that they circulate. I brought my own H/MU both times I shot with him.I will continue to shortlist him for anyone spending less than $350 for Headshots. You get at least $350 looking headshots from him for FAR less. The only other place I have seen do good work in this range is OG Photography - but they only have a low priced package that rivals JBC every couple months when they do a "special" on a certain day -- and there are certain age ranges/types that I don't feel they are consistent with -- though they KILL at other types.JBC is someone you know you can get: -Multiple Looks-Professional Shots-Efficiency-LOW PRICE/HIGH VALUE More...

I was recently in need of new headshots and called JBC Images to set up an appointment. I liked the pictures on his website and the price was certainly affordable for someone like me, who needs shots to attract auditions and an agent. I'm so happy with the headshots that John took of me.  He was so easy to work with and I felt comfortable from the very first picture.  The photo session was quick, easy and fun...and as a result I have several really great shots from which to choose. When I asked John to possibly shoot a few landscape shots from my website header, he was more than happy to take those also.Overall, working with John and JBC Images was an awesome experience and he will be the first person I call the next time I need headshots. I always go back to John for my headshots because he is the most affordable professional and experienced photographer I know. My agent loved his work so much they refer their clients to him now. I got a good number of meetings with well respected managers because of his awesome photos. He is easy to be comfortable enough with to take risks and be utterly retarded. He is great at giving suggestions, and he is very flexible to your flow. I brought music to my last session and danced. Another time I asked him to take photos of me rolling around in the grass. I know it sounds stupid, but one of those photos gets me a lot of auditions. I love how his backdrops are unique but subtle. He works fast, but you end up with almost 400 digital photos to chose from. Check out his website, but really you should just see my headshots and you'd be sold just kidding. He also adjusts the lighting/color of your raw photos then puts them on a cd. He gets it done FAST. It's easy to schedule with him as he is so accomodating despite his increasing popularity.  I shot with him twice this year and plan on seeing him again in just another few months!
