Where do I start?! I can easily sum this up in one word... Outstanding! But there is so much more to be said! When I first set out to find "The" right photographer for my son and future daughter-in-law's wedding, I spent hours and hours searching on the internet across the entire North Texas region. Being a photographer myself, I am extremely picky and critical when it comes to photography and I knew it was not going to be easy to find the right one. I talked to friends and other photographers as well to get their thoughts and recommendations. When I first saw Jays work, I was pretty sure that I had found what I was looking for. Jay and Kelly just did my wedding. They also were the ones who did my engagement and bridals. Which turned out so great! So, I asked if they'd have an opening to do both our son's [on-location] senior and family pictures, and my daughter's formal doctoral portraits. They worked with us on timing and location; they knew what locations made for the best backdrops. Jay and his assistants Kelly and Lauren’s work is absolutely incredible! We first met up with him at a Starbucks to go over details, see if we were interested. The whole time felt like we were visiting with a friend. He is so funny and smart and we hit it off immediately. My husband and I already decided before we made it to the car! Second his prices are very transparent - many other places we looked at were pretty vague with their prices. Jay Knight Photography really made our lives so easy. From the second we began talking to Jay to when the night was over they were nothing but helpful. Jay helped us with every single detail and was always there to offer additional tips for us to consider. His assistants Lauren and Kelly were amazing. We even changed part of our itinerary that we had given them (driving to a completely different location for 5 pictures) and they thought it was a great idea and even got there before us to begin testing out the lighting. They were incredibly friendly during the wedding and got wonderful photos throughout the night. Following the wedding we received a sneak peak about 2 weeks after and were amazed by the photos.
