I can't begin to thank Dean enough for the progress he has helped me to make (and continues to help me make) since my Father passed unexpectedly almost a year ago. I immediately sought out help after the traumatic experience and saw he uses EMDR. It has been an enormous transformation, helped immensely with anxiety and has helped me navigate the choppy, unpredictable waters of grief. During the past year there have been many highs and lows and he has helped me to find some peace during a tumultuous time in my life. I would recommend Dean to anyone looking for a great listener, guide and therapist in the South Austin area...especially for trauma therapy! More...

Dean was instrumental in my growth during the 15 months we worked together. In that time he helped me cut my addiction to pot, get out of a bad relationship, and quit a job that was not right for me. He listens well and got me to see things in a different way that was positive. We also did EMDR which helped me get over some trauma from my past. I highly recommend Dean to anyone. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love helping couples have the relationship that they want. I love helping individuals work through depression, unresolved trauma, feelings of disconnection, anxiety, and grief. I love helping others through life transition like loss of a relationship, loss of a career, and loss of a loved one. And I love helping clients have a stronger connection to themselves and a stronger connection to others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to be in a helping profession. As a child, I was the neighborhood counselor. It comes naturally to me to assist people through tough times. I have worked through my own history of anxiety which has inspired me to help others do the same. And I have had a series of losses and life transition including career change. I have grown and learned quite a bit as a result, and I want to help others working through the same challenges.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have the training and experience to help couples work through conflict and find more emotional connection. I offer a safe place for clients who are experiencing the death of a loved one. And I have proven tools and strategies to help with depression, life transition, unresolved trauma and anxiety.
