James made my family photo dreams come true!!!From the first time we spoke over the phone it was clear that he is a kind, warm, and easygoing person. When we met in person for our session he was upbeat and flexible and he dealt beautifully with my less than cooperative 2.5 year old as well as my almost 1 year old. The session went smoothly and he captured so many great shots. Once we received the final product we were blown away. The quality and quantity of the photos went well beyond what we could have hoped for. The turn around was super quick and his prices are more than fair. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's the photographer and not the camera that makes a great photograph. It's important to me to build a connection with the client so that they feel at ease when on a photoshoot. I like to think of it as hanging out with a friend while capturing some great moments in a beautiful location
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your vision for the photoshoot? Do you like posed photos or more lifestyle? How many hours of photography coverage are you looking for? What is the date and location of your project?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I get to photograph people on some of the best days of their lives from weddings to special family events. Most people that I meet haven't had a professional photo shoot in years or ever and to know that they will have these precious memories forever means a lot to me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a friend who is a photographer and he inspired me to get into photography because he noticed that I am great with people and have a good eye for photos. I have also a lot of work experience from working in a Fortune 200 company and a startup so starting my own business seemed like a natural transition for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I feel that clients should choose me based on a combination of the style of my photography and my personality. I have classical and timeless photo style and I am professional yet easy going at the same time. I truly get invested in whatever project that is proposed to me and deliver consistent quality throughout my product line.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As for Covid-19, I have taken steps to be fully vaccinated and boosted to not only protect myself but also my clients. I follow the latest CDC guidelines for mask compliance and will not attend your event if I am not feeling 100%. I also have a network of photography professionals to lean on in the event I cannot photograph your event due to contracting Covid-19.
Wedding Photography
My wedding photography business is my main source of business. I have been in photography wedding or 5+ years and have photographed over 100 weddings. I offer a variety of packages to offer based on your needs. Packages can also be customized as well.
I also photograph destination weddings so please ask about this service if you are interested.
Portrait Photography
My portrait photography sessions are generally up to an hour long and during that time I can capture a variety of photos ranging from posed to lifestyle.
There is no limit to the number of photos received and all are edited for final delivery.
Your photos are presented to you via a beautiful private online gallery where you can download them in high resolution.
Prints and photo product can also be purchased separately and directly from the online gallery.
Event Photography
Our event photography can capture those special corporate events like awards ceremonies to holiday parties. We also provide coverage for special birthdays and milestones that require multiple hours of coverage. We do offer discounts for half day and full day events.
Engagement Photography
Our engagement sessions are up to 1.5 hours long and are generally held in a beautiful outdoor location like a beach, park, or trail.
Special attention is made to posing and lighting to make for stylish photos that can presented at the wedding or made into album.
We can also offer destination engagement sessions at an additional cost for your more adventurous couples.
Maternity Photography
Our maternity sessions are up to an hour long and during that time we can capture a variety of photos to highlight your baby bump and create priceless memories.
Corporate Headshot Photography
Specializing in corporate headshots of at least 5 or more individuals in an office setting. I can provide an standard backdrop and studio lighting to create a polished and professional headshot.
