Jennifer did our pictures when she first started and our daughter was about 3 months old they were a Father’s Day gift and our first family photos. She did great with such a young baby and had the cutest props. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Practice! It takes years of practice and dedication to your craft to learn to take great photographs. I wish it was as easy as just picking up the camera and pushing a button but there's so much that goes into photography. You have to learn about lighting, camera controls, posing, and composition to really learn how to take a great portrait.
Here's a secret that no one will tell you. Your photos are not for you.
Sure you'll enjoy them, hang them on your walls, or maybe relive your wedding day while sipping on champagne and eating the rest of your wedding cake on your first anniversary. But there's more to it than that.
Your photos are for your family to enjoy. For your children to discover one day. For your grandchildren to learn how your story (and theirs) began. They're part of the legacy that will forever live in your family. I hope to create that legacy for you and make you look amazing too!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would want to know their budget for the project and their vision. From there I am able to help develop that vision into a reality.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people and capturing their memories! I get to help preserve some of the most important days in my clients' lives and share that happiness for years to come. There's no greater feeling than that! I also love the freedom I have of working for myself!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Like many others, I didn't want to work a 9 to 5 job anymore. I wanted the freedom to create art and share that with the world. I wanted the ability to work when I wanted to and to have more time with my family. I also wanted to build something that one day I might pass down to my children for their futures as well.
Why should our clients choose you?
If you are looking for a fun photographer who will create stellar, editorial-like images with fabulous customer service then I am the right photographer for them. I am not your run-of-the-mill natural light photographer and I don't put filters on my work. My challenge is to create the most meaningful and beautiful portraits I can. My client's challenge is to resist buying them all.

I can provide viewing sessions and consultations online or remotely. Wedding and portrait photography will always be in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have been vaccinated against covid-19 and will wear a mask if requested during your portrait session or wedding photography. I do practice social distancing if possible.
