I was first introduced to Irimaki two years ago. I was then gifted a catered sushi birthday dinner at work and I was so impressed with the presentation and just how delicious everything was. This year I knew this is how I again wanted to celebrate my birthday with a dinner party catered and served by the best. Tomas and his sue chef were on point. Everything that was served was not only delicious but so fresh. The gyosas, fried appetizers, Irimaki salad , sushi boat with the most unique and tasteful rolls & the fried Oreos over ice-cream were absolutely outstanding . We had irimaki sushi come to our home for a small dinner party and it was amazing!The food was delicious and they were so good at explaining what we were eating They set up, cooked, cleaned up after themselves! Excellent selections of dishes and rolls the crab salad is the best in Miami and apart from the delicious fried chicken that has a secret sauce that gives it an incredible touch and last but not least dessert of timed oreos with vanilla ice cream simply a really tasty experience

Irimaki is a sushi catering company for events and private in-home dining. I had the pleasure of experiencing an in-home dining event. The first course served was a Wakami/Crab mix salad. It was incredible! I could have eaten that alone as a meal. I am a fan of Wakami Salad in general, but by adding the Crab Mix Salad, it took the dish to another level. The second course was Pork Gyoza. The Gyoza was steamed nicely, had a great texture, and the flavor was on point. The third course was Japanese Fried Chicken. The chicken was lightly fried to perfection, and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo. As you can see from the picture, the portion was MASSIVE and easily served the whole table. The fourth course was a beautifully arranged sushi boat. Chef Tomas trained abroad as a sushi chef, and his training and creativity really shined with this course. Chef Tomas has created his own rolls that ranged from sweet and savory to a bit spicy. His latin descent shows up in the use of plantains and guava in some of the rolls. An interesting and delicious twist on traditional sushi. All the rolls were exceptional!Lastly, the dessert course was simple but delicious none the less. The dessert consisted of a mountain of vanilla ice with fried oreos and bananas. Then drizzled with chocolate sauce and whipped cream! It was the perfect exclamation point to end a fantastic dining experience. If you are a fan of sushi, and want to experience an unforgettable dining experience, I cannot recommend Irimaki high enough!
