Gorgeous venue and surprisingly convenient to find parking. As a local O'ahu resident, it takes serious temptation or necessity to get me to venture into Waikiki. I was pleasantly surprised by the transformation of the historic International Marketplace vendor stalls to a proper three-story mall filled with shopping and dining options. It's a realization of Hawaii's open-mall concept that seems to work for a wing at Ala Moana, minus the craziness of an inefficient parking lot. I've been able to easily find parking on the first level (4th floor) of the self-park area on every visit. The stalls are wide and permissive, so you're in luck if you end up parking next to someone with that brand new Tundra (or perhaps if you are one of those people insisting on driving a Tundra). The food court is lively and a place to bring friends. It's always crowded and filled with options. Go there before you're hangry for best results. And the restaurants on the third floor provide ample options for special occasions. It's an easy place to meet up with people and relax afterward. The common areas throughout the mall are among the most comfortable and best maintained on O'ahu. There's simply no better mall to go to, although habit may otherwise dictate where I'll be visiting next. More...

I love International Market Place! This shopping and dining center was located right next to my hotel; The Beachcomber and right near Waikiki Beach. Needless to say I quickly became a regular here.One of my favorite things about this place is the large tree house in the center. I had never visited the old International Market Place but only heard the history from boyfriend. I love how the main banyan tree is still in existence here; giving a piece of history to the place.I really enjoyed walking around International Market Place and seeing all the stores. I was also a fan of the different restaurants and eateries. These include Mitsuwa Marketplace, Magnolia Ice Cream and Skirtsteak.This definitely was a fun place to visit. More...

Cute place. There's lots to do, see, and eat here. I was only here for a brief moment, but I was able to see lots of places I would go. I was able to stop by Mitsuwa, maido, and the honolulu cookie shop. The market place is open late, so I enjoyed that very much. You can walk trough to get to the other side if needed. More...

数年前に訪れた際には屋台ストリートという感じですが綺麗なショッピングセンターに生まれ変わっていて驚きました。たくさんのショップが入っていて全部まわったら半日かかるくらい楽しめそうです。あちこちにソファースペースがあるので疲れたらここで休憩するのもおすすめです。中央に巨大なシンボルツリーがあって中空デッキで回ることができる不思議な空間になっていて面白かったです。また1階に人工芝と水辺のスペースがあっていろんな国籍の子供たちが楽しそうに遊んでいました。

Attractive mall located near Waikiki Beach. What a perfect place to visit on a rainy afternoon. There are so many shops and restaurants to explore. There is free WiFi and even rocking chairs. I remember the old IMP. I never was really crazy about it. I never really thought that much of the wares inside of this place were actually indigenous to the local Hawaiian culture or community. I thought it was dingy and kind of rundown. I thought it was a place to grab something on the run for somebody you forgot to pick up something for at home.I do love the mission of the development company that re-developed this mall and I like the layout. I like the winding corredor's with modern shops and wares.I went over there with my friends basically to eat at the food court not so much to shop. There is so much shopping along the boulevard anyway.So we ate at the food court. We got a little bit of everything in order to get a good review. The Ramen bar was amazing and was completely devoured.The chicken was good. I got the chicken wings. The buttermilk sauce was good and the orange sauce was a bit spicy and tangy for me. I forget the name of it. The pizza could've been better but it did get eaten. We got a slice of pepperoni to sample.We did get a Caesar salad no protein from the pizza place which was pretty good lettuce.There is an indie bar. I didn't get anything from there. There is a restaurant called the pron star I almost got something from there and they do have chicken katsu. They have a beer bar with about 20 beers on tap.They have a taco place. I did not try this either.All in all the food was OK if you're looking for that kind of fast food type of food bar.To be honest, I didn't realize this was the old market place until I walked around the old Banyan tree that has been there forever and can not be cut down per law.
