Chef Andrei was a great choice for my Mom's birthday celebration for 18 people in Santa Margarita! He was very accommodating and responsive to all my questions and requests in the weeks leading up to the dinner. The night of the dinner, he was very professional and the food turned out great!! He prepared a charcuterie board, meatballs, salmon tartines, a big caeser salad for appetizers. And for the entree - mashed potatoes and beef bourguignon. We had a family reunion of 25 guests and Andrei catered for our special dinner celebration. The food went above and beyond! Everything was delicious, all cooked right there and fresh. Nothing was overdone, soggy, mushy or cold, it was all perfect. The menu went together very well with his advice on a selection of tasty things. Everyone raved about the mushroom risotto. The kids in our group were thrilled when he made a separate treat for them of spaghetti and meatballs. The trouble is, the adults kept stealing the kids meatballs because it was so good. Six friends and myself recently rented a VRBO for three nights in Templeton.A search led us to I Love To Cater and Chef Andrei. He would arrive about 3 hours before dinner and create delicious meals from scratch in our kitchen. Meals were served family style - our choice. All of us (senior citizens) were very pleased with the meals he prepared.Two of the appetizers (octopus in tomato sauce and shellfish in tomato sauce) were especially raved about. Chef Andrei is very responsive and flexible. He even left us with a cooked quiche on our last night that we could reheat for breakfast on get-away day. Chef Andrei came to our VRBO to provide dinner for the four of us. His communications were responsive, friendly and flexible. He showed up promptly and within a half hour, the house was smelling amazing. He prepared a beautiful charcuterie board for us to start, a very seasonal salad, tender handmade pasta, succulent Beef Bourguignon with risotto, and a hazelnut chocolate flourless cake to finish. Wow. I can't recommend Chef Andrei enough! He was very efficient and responsive from start to finish. We had 23 at a VRBO for a birthday celebration and Andrei was amazing. Even when faced with obstacles like having to use a portable outdoor grill with wind and rain at his back, he soldiered right through it like a champ. He was literally outside, in the rain, with his pizza ovens and tossing dough in the air like we were in old world Italy. The chicken and tri-tip he prepared was outstanding. And don't get me started on the charcuterie board, bacon wrapped shrimp and flourless chocolate cake that melted in your mouth! Guests were ooh'ing and ahh'ing. And then he came back in the morning and made us baked apple crepes that were out of this world. Book him! He is a really cool guy guaranteed to make your event absolutely memorable. More...

Chef Andrei was very easy to work with and on top of it. He put together a beautiful breakfast buffet for our wedding reception. Despite there being some hiccups in the kitchen at the venue out of his control, Chef Andrei was able to get our food out timely. The food was incredible and the staff were kind and considerate.
