Colleen is professional, communicative, super reliable, flexible, honest, and LOVES pets, especially our dog. We work and our dog is often home alone during the day. "Saint" Colleen, as she quickly earned her title, is the best hire we've ever made for Shorty and Angel, our two dogs. She was quick to intuit both of their personalities and quirks. Angel deals with quite a bit of anxiety and she immediately honed into her needs and offered up wise solutions. She is extremely quick to respond to any inquiry, which is comforting when we are many miles away from our babies! Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers !" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her.Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us!We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Colleen is an absolute professional. She regularly cares for all of my pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish) AND my home, leaving it meticulous and spotless. My husband looks forward to retuning from a trip because Colleen always leaves it looking like a hotel. She has bent over backwards to accommodate us, even when flights are cancelled and trips are extended at the last minute. She also walks our gigantic dog and she is absolutely the best. He has a BETTER time with her than in his "normal" life when we're home, so I never feel any pet-guilt about going on vacation. If he even hears her voice he goes crazy with joy. I met Colleen a few years ago at Rolling Hill park. Immediately I knew she was very experienced and comfortable with all dog breeds. We own a pitbul and a very large mastiff which can make pet care very hard. Since meeting Colleen we no longer have this worry. The boys love her and we trust her.
