Shannon is absolutely fantastic. She checked in regularly to make sure I was enjoying what we were doing. My goal is to get in shape and this class had a wonderful fitness feeling, while still staying with the yoga vibe. I really felt like she catered our session to my needs perfectly. I was inspired to start UrbanNomadYoga because of my deep love for being outdoors and my profound connection with Central Park. The idea of practicing yoga surrounded by nature's beauty, with the city's energy humming in the background, filled me with a sense of joy and peace that I wanted to share with others.

Starting with group classes in Central Park, NYC, was a natural choice for me. I wanted to create a space where people could escape the hustle and bustle of city life, even just for a moment, to find solace and renewal in their practice.

I am incredibly grateful that our classes have been so well-received, quickly growing to become the best-rated yoga classes in NYC. This success has motivated me to continue expanding our offerings and reach even more people who can benefit from the practice of yoga.

Additionally, I began working with private clients after noticing that many people feel self-conscious with yoga. I wanted to create a safe and supportive space where individuals could explore their practice without any reservations, allowing them to fully experience the transformative power of yoga.

In private yoga and mat Pilates classes, I work closely with clients to understand their goals and tailor sessions to meet their specific needs. Through personalized instruction, I guide clients in developing strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, helping them progress towards their desired outcomes. I create a supportive and nurturing environment where clients feel empowered to explore their practice and make meaningful progress on their wellness journey. Together, we cultivate a sense of balance, rejuvenation, and holistic well-being.

Through online Zoom sessions, I offer a range of yoga and Pilates classes designed to bring the benefits of these practices directly to clients' homes. These sessions are tailored to individual needs and goals, providing a personalized experience similar to in-person classes. Whether clients are seeking to improve flexibility, build strength, or reduce stress, I guide them through practices that support their well-being. With clear instructions and modifications as needed, clients can feel confident and empowered in their practice, connecting mind, body, and spirit from the comfort of their own space.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I prioritize the safety and well-being of my clients by implementing several precautions during in-person sessions. While I only wear a mask if requested, I diligently sanitize all equipment after each use and wash my hands thoroughly before any interaction with clients. Additionally, I adhere to social distancing guidelines and encourage clients to communicate their comfort levels and preferences regarding safety measures. By maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, I aim to provide a safe space for clients to practice yoga and Pilates.
