We hired Hey Bartender! after meeting two of their employees at a venue's open house event, about one year out from our Wedding Day. We went with 2 bartenders for our event of about 120 people attending, and got their basic services as we were providing alcohol and barware ourselves.Chad was wonderfully responsive and we felt the price we paid was reasonable and well worth it. This is my second experience with Hey Bartender and it's been wonderful!  Chad was the Bartender at both events l attended. Once at the Ice House and at the Standard Apartments.  Chad crafted a special adult beverage each time, his personal signature and  touch.  I had his outstanding sangria and secret cocktail.  While his cocktail looked like water it tasted unbelievably good! We loved "Hey Bartender!" and our bartender "Herb" at my daughter's wedding on 3/10/18. Chad was extremely helpful in suggesting which package would work best, and answering all my questions. We had plenty of liquor and non-alcoholic drinks at our open bar, and they were set up in plenty of time. Herb interacted with everyone and made fantastic drinks! I cannot recommend this company or their bartenders enough. They were absolutely phenomenal.
Every piece of working with them, from filling out a quote to updating the numbers was easy, prompt and professional.
And the bartenders themselves on the day of went above and beyond. We received multiple compliments on how quick they were and on the quality of their drinks (we're all in our 30s now and really appreciate a proper pour - thank you for not over pouring!). I was especially impressed that the lines for the bar were never insanely long.

My experience was fantastic. We had an MBA graduation celebration at our home for our son and didn't want to have to deal with mixing and serving drinks. I went back and forth on what I wanted and they were so helpful and informative while I navigated my decisions. We were serving charcuterie and wanted a whiskey bar along with craft beer and classic cocktails. We even had a signature cocktail. They executed my expectation perfectly. Nick, our bartender was polite and friendly and did an excellent job - and I'm a little high maintenance! He embraced our signs and Pinterest vibe :) Our guests loved the portable bar and bartender! Everyone thought it was a fabulous way to host a nice home party. I cannot speak highly enough about how informative they were, answered my questions, and were so pleasant when on site. Nick did a fabulous job with the cleanup when he left and left some provisions for the lingering guests we had. I interviewed three other companies. I wanted to leave a little something to show my appreciation for Hey, Bartender! and their work at a wedding I coordinated a couple weeks ago. Even though we had a little bit of an issue with one of the bartenders, the second bartender Sarah, was incredible, and beyond expectation as far as service and personality is concerned. Chad, the owner, was also amazing! Not only did he address my concerns and issues with his other bartender, but he also worked diligently to make it right and ensure that the issue was resolved not only to my expectations, but to the Bride and Groom's as well. We hired Hey Bartender for a private dinner for 100 people. Our bartender was John, who checked in earlier in the day to go over the details, showed up on time and fully prepared. He was very professional, engaging with our guests, cleaned up, put away what we no longer needed for the night and left out what he thought we would continue to use. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Hey Bartender! is and was for our wedding last month. I cannot rave enough about Hey Bartender! Our venue recommended them as our bartending service and we had the option of bringing in our own alcohol and hiring bartenders, or having the bartenders provide everything. They were SO well-priced, we were able to just have them handle everything - beer, wine, liquor, mixers, cups, the whole deal! We had 2 bartenders for about 110-120 people and I never noticed a line or anything at the bar. Our Midwest guests seem to favor Bud Light to anything and the bartender even made a mid-wedding run to get more without even asking or charging us extra! He let my husband know if he had to run out again he would have to charge us, but we told him no need because they could just switch over to the tons of other alcohol/beer offered. They were great and even called before the wedding to just check-in and let me know I didn't have to return their call because I was probably busy (they've done this wedding thing before ;) ). They were great. Even not going to the bar once as the bride, I still heard great things about the bar and we didn't run out of anything except one or two of our beer kinds (out of 3) by the end of the night, so everyone was well-satisfied in a heavy-drinking group. Best service ever!  Always on time, always friendly, and always professional!  They called early the day of the event to confirm arrival times verify all information and see if there was anything else needed, relieved a lot stress!  Showed up on time, dressed well, and set up quickly!  Guests absolutely loved them, there was never an empty cup, and they helped in other areas walking around taking plates and refilling drinks.  They really made the party and made me look like a professional party planner:-).  This is my second time using them and would never use anyone else.  Thanks Chad you're the best!
