Along with this approach and her personality, it comes off as if you're having a conversation with a friend versus a counselor. You'll walk away thinking you've been talking to a homegirl vs a shrink which makes the process more quicker. What separates her from most is that you're not just a paycheck and she really cares, cares probably second only to your parents and family. She has a natural love for people and wants people to have that same love for themselves.
