What do you love most about your job?
Seeing my clients succeed with their dogs, and watching both the handler and dog's confidence grow.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 15yrs in the dog industry, I wanted to create an accessible, low-cost, and welcoming environment. I got tired of seeing "cookie cutter" dog trainers, and hearing about dog owners paying tons of money only to not get the outcome they were hoping for with their dog.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will do whatever it takes no matter how long it takes as long as the client is willing to put in the work and shows the same passion in success with their dog as I do. All training is customized to fit your and your dog's needs, preferences, and learning styles.

Virtual training is available first-come first-serve, and only for some services. Board & trains, daytime training, and field trips are available if you're unable to commit to long-term private sessions!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff are fully vaccinated and can mask up upon request. Clients who come down with COVID are asked to refrain from sessions or classes until a negative test or 14 days without respiratory symptoms.
Behavioral Rehabilitation
Great for dogs of any age experiencing anxiety, reactivity, or aggression (towards dogs and/or humans). We specialize in dogs with a history of trauma, primarily dog attacks and physical or emotional abuse.
Private sessions available Tuesday through Saturday.
Off Leash/E-Collar Training
Looking for off leash freedom? We start with basic obedience, coming when called, and leash skills then reinforce these learned behaviors using the E-Collar. Educator E-Collar systems are available for purchase at discount for clients!
Private sessions available Tuesday through Saturday.
Basic and Advanced Obedience
Sit, down, stay, come, and focus around distraction! Inquire for information on advanced or competition-level obedience. Crate training, potty training, and house manners included!

Service Dogs
Highly trained dogs* for those with disabilities limiting one or more life activity. Along with training, service dog clients receive a lifetime of support from us at HeroicK9s!
Our most common service dog clients are psychiatric service dogs (behavior interruption, medication retrieval, tactile stimulation) and medical alert dogs (alert to allergen, blood pressure/heart rate alert, emergency response behaviors).
Private sessions available Tuesday through Saturday.
*We work with local rescues and vetted breeders to choose dogs for service work, and can evaluate existing dogs in the home under 2yrs of age.
Board and Train
Need reactivity or aggression nipped in the bud? Does your disability make it difficult for you to commit to long term in-home training? Just want the basics brushed up on while you are on vacation?
Our low-cost board and trains are a great option for any San Diegan - plus, we only take 4 dogs at a time, so your dog will never miss out on top level care and attention!
Your dog will receive daily exercise, stimulation, and play along with their own kennel space to rest in the shade and hang out under our water misters.
Two week minimum. Installment plans available upon request.
Boarding
Not looking for specific training but want to make sure your pup is cared for like you would at home? Is your dog not fit for traditional boarding facilities? Just want to know your dog will have consistency while you are away?
Your dog will receive daily exercise, stimulation, and play along with their own kennel space to rest in the shade and hang out under our water misters!
Basic grooming available for an additional fee.
Daytime Training
Great for those who work from home, are gone all day, or just want their dog to have fun like they would at daycare - but with training!
Pickup and drop off included under 10mi.
Customized Field Trips
Field trips (one hour) are designed for dogs with separation anxiety, foster dogs, and dogs that only need a couple of refresher sessions - no matter the training type!
Three hour field trips are available for clients on deployment, medically unavailable, or in emergency situations.
Nutrition Consults
If your dog has consistent ear infections, allergies, or GI issues but is otherwise healthy, OR if you are looking to change food type, food cost, or food ingredients, set up a 30-minute phone consult to receive recommendations that fit your budget!
All consults include a FREE one-month meal plan. Additional meal plans available upon request.
Group Classes
REACTIVITY GROUP CLASS for dog and human reactivity/aggression - Every Saturday from 4:30-5:30pm - Drop-In Only $60/night - Freedom Park, San Diego
