Jess and her team have been consistently reliable and great to work with over the course of our 2+ year relationship. We used helping hands pet care for the first time this week to watch our ferrets when we went out of town. Being new to Tennessee, we were so worried about finding a new pet sitter for our two babies. I honestly couldn't write a review quick enough. I never once felt worried while Jess was there. I got constant text and picture updates and saw how much fun they were having. It is not easy to find someone who knows how to care for ferrets. Jess was so informed which made me feel so comfortable. I loved knowing the the rest of the HHPC was there to back here up in case of emergency. We also had a flight delay and Jess was ready to be there if we needed her for extra time. I can go on and on about how amazing HHPC is! Jess and Sarah are wonderful! Sydney is the most recent doggo Walker I've met, but they truly have a wonderful thing going on here. With just 1 walk through/meet and greet, Jess got my little pup's routine down to the T! The rates are reasonable, and since I have such a spacious back yard, I opted for the visit option. Someone comes and plays with my dog for 20-30 min until she's wore out, then she gets some pets and is returned to her crate.I really enjoy the pictures the team sends when I'm not there, and I love the service so much, I've opted to continue even though I'm laid up at home with a broken ankle. My dog looks forward to their visits, too!Five stars all the way! More...

There are so many wonderful things to say about Helping Hands that I could easily write a novel. Jess has been involved in our dogs’ care for most of their lives. Initially as a groomer who managed to immediately win the affections of our ‘indifferent to most humans’ dog even though all their interactions involved nail trims and baths. To say we were sad when she moved exclusively to pet sitting is an understatement. When the dogs got older and needed midday care, calling on Helping Hands was a no brainer. Jess has gone above and beyond in every way possible from noticing changes in behavior indicative of larger symptoms; accommodating last minute schedule changes; staying longer during a storm for a scared dog and rescuing a frazzled client [me] locked out of her car. As we are approaching end of life care for our 15+ year old dog, Jess continues going the extra [million++] miles. She is competently administering wound care of a hard to treat infection in our dog’s paw and has spent time researching additional solutions. All that to say, Jess has been invaluable to us in more ways than I can count, she treats our dogs like family, and there is absolutely no one I would trust or recommend more highly for any and all pet sitting needs. We feel so fortunate to have found such a reliable, friendly, and trustworthy pet sitter! Jess has been absolutely wonderful to work with, and our two kitties absolutely love her (and one is extremely difficult to win over). She and Sara have been taking care of us all since 2015. They are quick to respond to our messages, send us daily updates/photos, change batteries in our smoke alarm, put aloe on our kitties' ears if they look irritated, take out our trash, water our plants, rotate lights, as well as a laundry list of kitty related items.  They even help us take care of our neighborhood kitty friends. Jess and her crew are the best pet-sitters I've ever had in my many years as a dog and now cat owner. Although the cat would dispute that "owner" thing. This summer Helping Hands managed to keep our community cat (who has established himself at our house) bonded to our porch, fed and photographed every day for a month while we traipsed around the American West. That took real dedication and a knack for how to get a cat to come running when you appear. They went way above and beyond on this one. More...
