I've known Heather for over 15 years. My son went to school with her oldest. We've shared our experiences with photography, but Heather had the opportunity to continue in a professional manner. She started doing school photos and team photos and expanded to senior photos and then for weddings. I actually assisted a few times with her on Senior photos and a wedding. I had the pleasure of her doing my wedding this past September. She did an amazing job. She captured every happy moment. I would recommend her to anyone. We hired Heather to do our son’s senior pictures. Heather was very quick responding emails regarding price and how the packages worked. Super flexible scheduling the actual photo shoot. Heather even suggested adding a family picture to the end of the session. What a great idea as we had not had professional pictures taken in quite some time. The day of the session Heather was very patient working with my son who was less than pleased to be having his picture taken. The entire session did not take long and Heather was able to get some excellent pictures. We live in Florida but wanted our family portraits done in Maine. Heather was WONDERFUL and we are thrilled with the shots she captured of our family and two sons. We spoke to Heather ahead and requested a "quick and painless" session at the beach. On the evening of our shoot, with an impending storm looming on the horizon and two unexcited teenaged boys to photograph, we were nervous there wouldn't be enough time to get all the pictures we wanted. I can’t stop obsessing over our photos by Heather Henriksen! She captured our family and sons so beautifully and authentically. Heather is wonderful! She did a family photo shoot for us in the fall at the beach. She was so easy to work with and super nice - we all felt very comfortable. I was blown away when the photos were ready. They were amazing! I had a hard time choosing which ones to print because there were so many great ones. Luckily she took the time to sit down with me and help me choose. I used the photos to do my Christmas cards and they were such a hit that I had people calling me to tell me how beautiful the pictures were on the card! This was such a gift that I gave to my family. While vacationing at York Beach, ME this summer, we arranged to have Heather take photos of our family which included 5 boys under 11! Heather was always responsive to my emails, we worked out all of the plans weeks before arriving and she met us at the location we chose - Short Sands. Heather captured my family beautifully and I can't tell you how much I love having these shots with Short Sands, Victorian homes and the Fun O Rama in the background.
