What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing client's relief when they realize they are not alone and that there is a brighter horizon in their future. Though I am a person of faith, I love that I can respect the client's choice and autonomy to decide whether and/or how their faith or beliefs are approached in the counseling environment. I do not believe that I must proselytize to faithfully represent my faith & values. Spirituality is a diverse concept. I want my clients to feel safe to be who they are and start the work from where ever they may be in life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am thankful to have a business model that fills a gap in care for adoptive parents, those with special needs children, and when faith crises overwhelm others. I am thankful for the opportunity to work within an environment congruent with my own values and the opportunity to leverage my personal experiences to enhance my training for the benefit of others.

I hope to help client's who want an authentic counselor, who has walked and struggled though her own story, and who is not afraid to be real in the room. I take on a posture of humility and learner, not someone eager to prove something. I walk alongside my clients who truly are the experts in their life stories.

I am a board-certified tele-mental health professional (BC-TMH) and split my practice between telehealth and in-person. I have incorporated telehealth for 3 years now and I love working with my tele clients! This is a strong component of my practice that affords convenience for my clients.
