Amy is easy to communicate with and my dogs liked her right away. I do recommend her for training.

Amy training is awesome! Being a combat veteran I needed help with my dog and my Bailey boy loves her training!

I have only had one session so far, but my dogs love Amy and they made an improvement in just one session. I’m hopeful that I can finally get these rowdy ones under control.

I just started having Amy work with 2 of our 4 dogs and she is great! My dogs really like her. We are starting with the basics and I can wait to watch my dogs behavior change positively.

Amy is amazing and communicating and shows her loving and caring heart to all the animals she works with. She just shows what she does and makes it so easy for beginners and those who are “re-training” their pets. We are so blessed that we have made contact with her. It's making a world of difference More...

Q&As

Helping people and training their dogs. I joke around about having the best job in the world being able to be with dogs all day. Honestly I love it and couldn't imagine a better job.

In 2020 I got my Shadow Paws and I have always wanted to have a service dog. After training him for a little while people asked me why I wasn't training other dogs. At the time I was an equestrian and didn't have time. Then in May 2021 I fell off and got my second concussion so I decided to give it a try. It quickly blow into something I never imagined. and that is how it all started.

I am one of these people that love love love all animals and they will always be spoiled by me. I'm always buying treats or getting some from my sponsor Friutables. I use high value treats such as hot dogs, cheese and jerky. I also only use force free methods for my training I truly believe dogs listen better to positive actions. I will never ever hit, yell or hit your dog as that isn't something I believe in and also it's just not right. I love animals and just want them to be happy.

I do both my services both online and remotely. If you are within ten miles of me I come to your home and do one on one private training with you and your pup. Remote training is for people that just need a little tune up or that are more than 10 miles from me, these are also private lessons one on one. Normally I will use Shadow as a role modal online that way I can show you what to do and then you can do it. I'm quite open to both options so whatever works best for the clients.

I have been doing training via zoom if the clients don't fell comfortable with me being in their home, however if they are I will normally wear a mask and or meet in a public place. In Oregon as of March 12th there is no mask required inside anymore. But I like to do whatever makes the clients feel the most comfortable.

Services

This is perfect for puppies or older dogs who need help learning the basics. We do one on one sessions with you and your pup for an hour in home. We can also train both your pups at the same time. In these lessons your pups will learn sit, stay, down, pay, mat, heal and anything else you would like them to learn Lesson plan is once or twice a week for 12 weeks.

Service dog training is good for those who need or want their pets to be a service dog. I train for PTSD and anxiety. Dogs most be at least 6 months to start. this program is over a year long. In this your pups will learn how to be a good service dog and go out in public. I do one session a week with you and your pup.
