For an awkward and anxious person, the only thing more terrifying than a mirror is having another human being serve as one. So, when I was told I needed professional author headshots, I considered packing my bags and leaving town. But Eric had me covered! Eric is an amazing photographer!! I am incredibly glad I went to him for my professional head shots. The photo-shoot itself was fairly quick and painless. Eric has an eye for knowing what looks good in photographs and was extremely helpful in helping me pose. Eric took some amazing headshots for me. Not only was he helpful is assisting with the ideal attire and background for the pictures, but he was also wonderful at making sure the resulting pictures looked and felt genuine. He doesn't rush you, he is patient, and he has an eye for the pictures that bring out the best "you" in the images, despite the professional nature of the photographs. I appreciated his time and effort from setting up the appointment, his help choosing out the ideal setting and the best outfit, and his professionalism in choosing/narrowing down the choices to the best photos. I am so glad I chose Eric Bern to do my professional headshots, not only is he super friendly but he has great customer service and is an AMAZING photographer! He has such a unique eye- When I arrived for my appointment I sat on the couch in the waiting room and when he came to greet me he said that he didn't want to bother bringing me into the studio because the couch with the natural lighting coming from the window looked so nice/natural on me as is. He carried his camera/supplies out from the studio and brought them into the waiting room and bam he started taking so many pictures, they came out so nice and beautiful!!!The prices for the quality were very reasonable as well. As a recent college graduate I wanted to invest in professional photos. Eric gave me this and more. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or pictures. Eric is friendly, fast, an excellent photographer, and he knows exactly what you need for a "workplace" photo.   When I arrived, Eric asked me what I was looking for (in my case LinkedIn as well as my company's internal database), and in less than a few minutes he set his studio up and had some remarkably excellent in-camera shots that you could use right off the bat.  I will definitely be suggesting him to everyone I know in the future! I am not photogenic, and I avoid having my picture taken.  Unfortunately, although I tried to avoid it, I was required to submit my photo for a project at work.  I called Eric yesterday, and he was able to see me today.  He took a lot of photos with different poses, backgrounds, etc.  Once I eliminated the ones that I didn't like, I still had so many photos to choose from that it was difficult to decide which ones to select.Eric sent the final selections to me electronically this evening and they are amazing!  They are so nice that I plan to schedule a family photo session later this month. I needed to get a professional headshot for my LinkedIn profile page that didn't look like a good selfie.  I tried thumbtack and looked at other studio websites for good examples that looked natural and not overly contrast/green-screen look.  I really liked this site and sent in a request for estimate and Eric replied right away.He was able to see me the next day and it was a no rushed, full hour with a wardrobe change.  He took the time to straighten the collar, adjust different poses, provide different background, and retouch the photos.  We agreed to have them by Monday, but I was (very) pleasantly surprised to have them come in early on Thursday.The price was very competitive and the end result is outstanding.  I'm not a professional model (for sure), but you can look at my profile photo for an example of his good work. Eric is a great photographer! Scratch that. He is master of his trade! He worked quickly within my busy schedule to get me some great looking photos that I needed for a press release. I take good casual photos but every time I sit for a "business" photo I hate the results. Not so with Eric! Eric Bern is not just a photographer, he is an artist who takes tremendous pride in his work.  In this day of 'photography by the numbers' style mall/chain studios, it's nice to find a person who views his work artistically-- taking the time to capture the exact vibe & personality of his subjects.  He doesn't rush his efforts-- he likes to gather information on his subjects, finds out what the purpose of the photo session is and how the photos will be displayed. He then coordinates his backgrounds, the lighting and positions the person appropriately to fulfill those goals.  He has a great manner about him which he uses to put people at ease which results in more charming, natural smiles in the finished work. He is very impressive and his work manifests the artistry.  The work is not completed until he does his editing- to make you look your very best. Eric Bern does beautiful work!  He was contracted to do the N. Springs HS senior photos. My daughter's first photo shoot went so well, which were pictures for the yearbook, that we went back last weekend for a cap and gown shoot. The one problem that you will have is deciding which photos to choose from.  Eric Bern has a great eye for capturing the perfect pose for an individual or for family portraits.  He's great to work with and will split payments into 3, if necessary.
