What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for animals ignited when I entrusted my beloved pets to a family friend while I was away. Unfortunately, this arrangement fell through, leaving me scrambling to find last-minute care for my furry companions. This unsettling experience highlighted the dire need for reliable and compassionate pet care services.
Driven by this realization, I embarked on a journey to transform the pet care industry by establishing Happy Paws Fit & Sit. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We understand the importance of keeping your pets safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. We monitor current health conditions and when the threat is on the rise, we implement the following safety measures to ensure the well-being of you and your furry companions:
Hand Hygiene:
-Our pet care professionals wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after each visit. We use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not readily available.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
-Our pet care professionals wear masks when entering your home and while providing care for your pets.
-We also wear gloves when handling pet food, water bowls, and other pet supplies.
-We dispose of all PPE properly after each visit.
Social Distancing:
-We maintain a safe distance from your pets and other people as much as possible.
-We avoid direct contact with your pets' faces.
-We encourage contactless greetings and goodbyes.
Stay Home if Sick:
-Our pet care professionals will stay home if they are feeling sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.
Pet Sitting
Whether you need daily visits or a helping hand while you are temporarily away, we are here for you. We offer a variety of options to best meet your needs. All visits include potty breaks and/or litter scoop, outdoor play (weather permitting), pet safety checks, feeding (as needed), fresh water, medications / treatments (if applicable), tidying up after pets, mail, security check, light adjustments (for that lived in look), trash/recycling service, and other customized services. Most importantly your fur babies will get bushels of fun and snuggle time. You will have a full overview of your scheduled services and our visit summaries through our iPhone, iPad, and android compatible app. If another app is not on your wish list, no worries! You will also receive a email at the end of each visit detailing all of our fun adventures with your beloved pet(s).
Dog Walking
Physical activity is so important for a healthy mind and body. Daily fitness reduces stress, minimizes anxiety, provides social exposure, reduces boredom (acting-out), builds confidence, and provides structure for your dog. We offer walks or runs (for the ambitious fur-balls), which can range from 15 minutes up to 1 hour. We can also work on your pets agility by taking a field-trip to local dog parks or hiking trails.
Dog Jogs
Physical activity is so important for a healthy mind and body. Daily fitness reduces stress, minimizes anxiety, provides social exposure, reduces boredom (acting-out), builds confidence, and provides structure for your dog. We offer walks or runs (for the ambitious fur-balls), which can range from 15 minutes up to 1 hour. We can also work on your pets agility by taking a field-trip to local dog parks or hiking trails.

Pet Taxi*
Need help getting your pet to and from the groomer, vet, doggy daycare, or grandmas house? We can help! We can safely transport your pet, allowing you to go about your day without interruption.
*This service is only available to registered clients. New customers must participate in a Meet & Greet and complete appropriate registration documents prior to scheduling service.
Pet Personal Assistant
Pet related errands can be such a hassle! Many vets and pet specialty stores do not offer after hours services, requiring you to leave work to pick up necessary pet supplies. Let us make shopping for your pet a breeze! We can pick up medication or general supplies and deliver them right to your home or office. We are also available to join you when ever you need an extra set of hands with your pet.
