I found Nicole during an extensive Google search of Triangle area photographers back in 2015 when another photographer flaked on me and I was in a desperate search for an experienced maternity and newborn photographer. At first contact I knew she was 100% professional and trustworthy and I couldn't wait for my maternity photos! They were absolutely breathtaking and Nicole was amazing during the whole experience; we dodged thunderstorms, mud, and bugs to capture the perfect photos at Lake Crabtree. Not long after we met with Nicole again for newborn photos with our daughter. So far we've had six sessions with her (two maternity, one newborn, two Valentine's Day, one first birthday cake smash, and another newborn session coming up soon!) and I simply can't imagine trusting my family's photography needs to anyone else. Communication is always on point, we never feel rushed, and the end product always takes our breath away. I knew I wanted to take newborn photos so I sought out the websites of newborn photographers in the triangle. I liked Hanner Studios' photos the best so I contacted Nicole and booked her maternity + newborn package. Nicole was very responsive even though she was in the middle of moving!For the maternity shoot, Nicole not only agreed to let us include our crazy dog, but she also got some phenomenal photos of us with him! Then, when my daughter was born, she had to stay in the hospital longer than expected. Nicole was kind and patient with us, willing to postpone the photos as long as we needed. At the newborn photo shoot, Adeline was a little older as a result of her extended hospital stay, and, on that day, less than cooperative. Nevertheless, Nicole again was able to capture terrific photos!When it came time to organize Adeline's Jewish naming ceremony, on a whim, I contacted Nicole about her coming to take photos. Luckily, she was available and we worked out a package for the event. When I shared the photos with family, they were as thrilled as I was.All this to say, in a short time, I have had quite a bit of experience with Nicole's photography. Not only is she pleasant to work with, she takes phenomenal photos and does a tremendous job with photo editing in a reasonable amount of time. I am already looking forward to booking Nicole again! Nicole did an amazing job both for our maternity pictures and also for newborn pictures of our twin girls. For the maternity session, she got very beautiful photos despite the fact that the weather wasn't fully cooperative with us. For the newborn photos, she was so patient and gentle with our girls. For both, she was open to our suggestions on photos we would like to incorporate and very easy to work with through the whole process, from first contact to final product. I contacted Nicole a month out from my wedding. We met a talked about the venue, setting, vibe etc..a month later was the wedding! I totally just let her do her thing on the big day, and her photos turned out amazing. Whenever I have had professional photos am always worried that something important will be missed, or the pictures won't capture the feeling of the day. This was my first time working with Nicole and she nailed it! Somehow she managed to be everywhere and at the same time, I hardly noticed her presence. When we got our photos back I was so surprised to see some sweet pictures of my kids and family that I don't even remember her being there at that moment! Nicole was my maternity photographer and SO great to work with! She is incredibly talented and paid so much attention to every detail when we were taking each picture. I had a mini session with Nicole for my 11 month old. She did a great job. Quick and effective. She got some awesome teethy smiles and my little boy seemed to love her!
