From the time I entered Angela’s studio I felt welcomed with open arms. The studio is beautifully decorated and I felt an overall sense of safety and well being. Angela provided a description of Reiki before we began that was clear and easy to understand and was open to all questions I might have had. The session itself was breathtaking, literally. I became so relaxed. All my mental chatter ( that seems to never leave) was completely gone for periods of time during the session. Yes! Afterwards, Angela provides a journal and hot tea as I recorded my thoughts and we processed them together. Very good insights on her part. If you are new to Reiki and are hesitant about trying Reiki. Hagerstown Reiki is a great place to learn and experience Reiki. Angela is excellent in everything she does. She takes the time to get to know you and your needs. She is very detailed explaining what you will experience. She allows times for questions before the session. Her studio is very relaxing and comfortable. The experience overall was amazing. I definitely will be back as part of her wellness program. She has great follow up and her energy is contagious. An amazing experience! I went for my first, difenitly won’t be my last, appointment with no expectations and knowing nothing about Reiki still kept an open mind. This was my first time experiencing Reiki and the results were absolutely amazing. From the start, Angela made me feel very welcomed and relaxed. She explained to me thoroughly how it works in advance and then gave me a notebook to write down all of my feelings and thoughts afterwards. It has helped me so much. What is special about this experience is that after the Reiki session, Angela spends some time with you briefly talk or journal about your experience in order to capture what may have come up for you and help to transition to a point where you are ready to rejoin the outside world again.
I left feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. And ready to go back!

So I enjoy and use Reiki for wellness on occasion. I go to the Frederick Healing Circle and have seen different practitioners at their home or mine. I was offered a session with Angela and found it really helpful. Her office is in a lovely old building in downtown Hagerstown. It’s a nice peaceful place and I left my session feeling much renewed and at peace. One thing that was really great and not something that others have done is that she gave me plenty of time to sit with the reiki after she was finished and gave me a journal to write down insights. Then we talked and “compared notes” about the session. That turned out to be really helpful for solidifying the experience, and as fate would have it I needed that later that same day!
