So good! Everything was fresh and nicely plated. Menu isn’t huge but I kind of liked that in compassion to a typical Mexican restaurant menu where you can’t decide what you want because too many options. They focus on a small variety and make them great! Will be back. More...

The food is below average Mexican and the workers are very rude. Food is extremely over priced. None of the workers wear masks or gloves while making the food, yet require that all door dash delivery drivers have their hot bag present with them for “the safety of the customer”. If you want contaminated Mexican food this place might be a good fit for you. However, if you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Peoria, that is cooked in a clean environment with friendly service.....Los Cabos Cantina and Grill is the way to go! More...

Best Mexican restaurant in the Peoria area. Fresh, quality ingredients and bold flavors. There are plenty of other decent Mexican restaurants all over town, but if you have a sophisticated palate this place is just a tier above the rest. The salsas are fresh and rich, not watered down crap that's been in the fridge for a week. The tomatillo salsa (green stuff) is bangin. The pico, guac, rice, and beans are all a step up from the average fare. They offer a wide variety of moles, soups, and sides that you won't see elsewhere. I've been 4 times and haven't has any issues with the service (mentioned in some other reviews). If you want cheap and quick then go somewhere else. If you don't mind paying a little bit more for a substantial increase in QUALITY, give this place a try. I wish I would've sooner. More...

This is a delicious Mexican Restaurant with a really beautiful outdoor patio! The food was great! We had the Queso and Guacamole as appetizers that were both delicious! We ordered the Tampiqueña and Jalisco plate for dinner and both were very good with good portions. Their drinks were also a great size and delicious, we had a Mexican Mule and a Michelada. Their desserts are also phenomenal, but I highly recommend the Tres-Leches cake, the rise pudding, and the churros! More...

We've gotten takeout from here a few times, and I struggle with how to rate them. On the one hand, we've liked most of what we've had here. I wasn't impressed with the mole I had once, but I've gotten burritos from them several times and have always found them fresh, tasty, and filling. Not a bad deal, especially on Saturdays when they're $9. We also enjoyed their fajitas. My wife has had inconsistent experiences with her orders, though. She likes the ceviche tostadas and tripe soup (Menudo Sopas - available only on weekends), and the first time she had these a year ago, she thought they were amazing. The ceviche was the best she'd ever had, and the tripe soup was loaded with meat. In a half-dozen orders since then, however, she hasn't gotten the same results. The ceviche recipe has seemingly changed several times, unless it just depends on who's working on a given day. Regardless, it's never been as good as it was that first time. The tripe soup recipe hasn't changed as much, but it now tends to have much more liquid and less meat. We wondered if they were struggling and trying to adjust recipes to cut costs, because they often seemed empty, but they seemed busy last weekend, so not sure. We like their food enough to keep buying from them occasionally, but they're not the cheapest, so we wish they were more consistent in their product. More...

We are thrilled to have a good, authentic Mexican restaurant on this end of town...finally! This is our 4th time here and while the service was a little lacking the first few times (right after they opened), the food is great! And the service has definitely improved. They even offered us koozies for our beers as we sat on the patio waiting for our food. The chicken enchiladas verdes, fajitas and tacos are authentic and really good. I particularly love the homemade tortillas. Margaritas here are a little too sweet for my taste though. Guacamole is on point! More...

My husband and I had been in once for dinner and really enjoyed the food, so we decided to try their breakfast. It was excellent! I ordered the chiliquiles and he had a chorizo and egg quesadilla. Both were very tasty! They also offer traditional American style breakfast foods such as omelets and biscuits and gravy. I believe the owner was our server, and she was very friendly and helpful. Our bill was less than $20. We left full and happy and will definitely go back! More...

Came in for lunch, the weather was great so we ate outside on the patio. The chips and salsa were great. They brought out some spicier green sauce, that was awesome, in addition to the traditional salsa. I had the Friday special, fish tacos. It came with 3. The fish was fried and cooked perfectly. It was topped with slaw and a spicy sauce. For 4 of us in our group, it was our first time there. We all said we'd be back for sure! More...

This is it! This Mexican restaurant made our bellies very happy. The service was stellar and it's not every day that you find a restaurant where the staff is kind to kids. I loved that they interacted with my 3yo. She loved being treated like any other grownup customer. The food was delicious and I was full even before I finished my burrito suizo. This is the best MEXICAN food in Peoria! I moved here from Tucson, AZ, and find that "Peorian Mexican food" is all very similar and does not reflect Sonoran style mexican food, but Hacienda adds a more authentic twist to the local midwest brand of the cuisine with flavors and dishes close to those you can get near or across the border in Sonora, Mexico.

Always enjoy finding gems in my hometown. The moment we walked in the front door, I knew this would be a good experience. The hostess immediately greeted us, and asked if this was our first visit . After informing her that this was our first visit, she took the time to explain the history of the owners, and the style of food they served. We decided to sit on the patio, and were give the option of a sunny table or a covered table. I like the option! Our waitress was attentive without being smothering, and was very informed on all aspects of the menu. The warm, homemade chips with two sauces were brought to the table. As we enjoyed these, the menu and specials were explained to us. My wife chose the tacos pastor, and I chose the chicken with poblano crema. Our waitress soon returned with a sampling of the house made chicken and pasta soup. Great flavor! Our food arrived promptly, and was presented with bright colors and wonderful aromas. I have nothing but praise for the delicious food. My chicken was paired with an amazing corn and black bean salsa, and came with warm tortillas (corn at my request). The tacos came "Street style" with sides of pico and tomatillo sauce. We both were impressed with the professionalism with all of the staff we encountered, and noticed that the lunch crowd grew quickly. Clearly this special spot has become popular with people in the area. Give it a try, and I bet you will make it your new go to spot. More...

I loved everything I tasted on my visit (tortilla soup, frijoles charros, couple of different enchiladas, like a million different salsas), and I can't wait to try more. After a second visit I'm downgrading my rating from 5 stars to 4. A 5 for my first visit and a 3 for my second, averaging out to 4. The service wasn't nearly as good on my second visit. Had to wait a while to get chips & salsa, have our order taken, drinks brought to the table, etc. They were busy but they were also busy the first time, when the service was so great Was also a little disappointed to see that they were on their limited "soft launch" menu a couple weeks after opening.
