Holly photographed our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. I normally do not like getting my picture taken because I think I look awkward. Every single picture came out amazing! I have experienced many photographers in my line of work so I had in mind the type of person I knew I needed for my special day. I was looking for a bubbly outgoing person that would make our awkward selves come out of our shell and feel relaxed and that's exactly what we got. Holly and Jocelyn did an AMAZING job on our wedding photos!! They were so much fun to work with. They found all the best shots and made everyone look fantastic! They helped me feel calm and beautiful when I was getting ready and they kept it really fun! Our wedding was in late November and it was an evening wedding. They were able to capture the most amazing shots of my husband and I even though we were quickly losing light outside. Also, Holly was super helpful in dealing with the tons of family members that all wanted special pictures during or reception. She knew that it was important to us that we get to dance and have a good time, so she got all the family members set and then called us up to join in our spots and quickly get back on the dance floor. It is easy to find a photographer that can take a good picture. They are able change the settings on their camera to adjust to the lighting and to give you what you think you want in a photographer. What is difficult to find, is someone with a beautiful soul. Someone that will treat your wedding like it is for their own daughter/son. Someone that has an eye for creativity that all of the Pinterest boards in the world cannot replace. Someone that will give you sheer clarity into what you know you need in a photographer.

I met Holly at Panera Bread where I was working part time while in college. She used to come in and quite literally brighten my entire day. She is a breath of fresh air and her positive outlook on life and infectious laugh will forever change the way you see the world. She was 100% the biggest asset to my husband and I on our special day.

In addition to her willing to quite literally lay all over the ground to get the perfect shot and stop dead in her tracks because she found the most beautiful lighting or backdrop, she will keep you laughing the entire time. I asked to meet with her a few months before the wedding and she was willing to talk with me for hours about my late grandmother and what each part of my wedding meant to me. I also lived 500 miles away the entire time we were planning the wedding and she was of assistance the whole step of the way.

But Holly's personality is not the only reason to choose her: she has a gift. I have seen her work progress over the last several years and she truly captures love right out of thin air. The shots are crystal clear, with gorgeous lighting, and the perfect angle. I can't thank her and Ashley enough for the hard work and dedication they put into our day and for treating us like family. My husband and I could not be more thrilled with Holly! I was very overwhelmed upon searching for a photographer for our wedding. I was told by so many that this was the most important purchase for your wedding, and I was afraid to make the wrong decision. However, choosing Holly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. When we first met her, she was so positive, energetic, and passionate about love and photography that we instantly knew that we wanted her to be with us on our wedding day! We did our engagement photos with her, which were gorgeous. She was very accommodating and flexible throughout the process in the months leading up to our wedding. On our wedding day, I was overwhelmed and anxious, but Holly and Jocelyn were extremely patient, pleasant, positive and energetic throughout the whole day. If you are a newly engaged couple, please read this review!

There are so many, many decisions you have to make in the months ahead. I can't even count anymore how many decisions we made. But what I do know is choosing Holly Moran as our photographer is the choice I still feel the proudest about.

It is so easy for a photographer to take a nice photo- a nice venue, a beautiful dress. But Holly has an eye for natural lighting, and backdrops, and different times of day that not all photographers take the time for.
She also gets to know you as a couple, and what matters to you, and what doesn't. We didn't plan on doing engagement photos, but are so glad we did as we got to know Holly and she got to know us. When one of our locations was suddenly unavailable the day of our shoot, she came back another day! Simply because she knew it was something that mattered to us.
She also knew how important it was for me to get photos in the city of Syracuse on our wedding day, a place I feel passionately about. She got us everywhere- on the street, in the squares, on a beautiful stoop anyone else would have walked by. She set up a night shoot and took us out in the middle of downtown at dark. Whatever it is that you imagine, she will get excited about and make it happen!

If you are searching for a photographer, please save yourself the trouble and just book Holly. She is personable, enthusiastic, and you can count on her to be there. She is affordable for her quality as well.
