What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for documenting life and love that people can cherish as heirlooms and keepsakes for a lifetime. Most importantly, the love for the art of photography.

I am passionate about capturing the essence of my clients, therefore I take my time to understand you inspiration and to get to know you so that I can be inspired by who you really are. No, I cannot provide online services or remte services. Photography requires me to be in person with my subject(s).
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I bring santizer with me, I sanitize all equipment and props. Limited touching so I use verbal guidance for posing and photographer wears a mask while capturing. All paymenst are taken online or digitally.
Event Photography
Proms, Graduation, Birthdays, Showers, Celebrations and Dinner Events take so much to plan; from securing the perfect venue, deciding on themes, colors, decorations, and hiring a DJ to keep the party going. All of this effort, and once the event happens you are so busy running around that you miss all the memories made around you.
Grey Matter Photography helps you to relive every moment of your event, from the small details that go unnoticed, to the guest you didn’t know were there. Grey Matter Photography observes and captures it all. We don’t wait for you or your guest to request a photo; instead, we work the room capturing smiles, hugs, selfies and sentimental moments shared.
Investment: $150 per hour and does not apply toward any packages. On average, most clients invest between $550 to $2000.
The hoursly rate covers the photographer’s time and talent, travel, basic editing and the online password protected gallery where you will view your images. There is a 20% Retainer required upon booking an event and it is non-refundable, but is transferrable to a future event or session.
Digital, prints, and products are purchased separately. We also offer Event Photography Packages that include Digitals, Prints, Keepsakes and Heirlooms.
Portrait and Lifestyle Photography
Photographs reveal the essence of your life and love, from the inside out. For us every bit of who you are, what you feel and what you fear counts; and helps us unfold your visual story. We work to set the mood, bring positive energy and document your life and love in its purest form. Let Us capture all your heartfelt and unforgettable moments', from Senior Graduates, Maternity, Couples and Friends in Chicago, Illinois and Chicagoland Area.
Session Fee $350 and includes the following:

Family Portraits
Digital, prints, and products are purchased separately. We recommend scheduling an ordering appointment where we'll help you decide on your favorite images and how you want to showcase them.

Brand Photography
Are you starting a new company or launching a new product? Is it time to reposition or revitalize your brand? Grey Matter Photography collaborates with Business Owners & Creatives to capture the essence of their brand resulting in authentic images used to represent companies and form clear visual identities for marketing materials. Brand Photography can include product photos, team headshots, social media and blog images and every picture you use for digital or print media - but only if they’re unique to you.
