Awesome company and owners with family focused priorities- absolutely beautiful personal or family photo sessions and the canvas prints they have made for us are perfect quality, with attention to proper size of the canvas given the quality of the photo, unlike online sales where you can't get that personal one on one interaction Also a huge supporter of the Olney Boys and Girls Club, Norbeck Grove MCSL swim team and other local organizations

I just read RJK_2013 negative review and it is far from the truth about this company. I am a parent and Director of a preschool that has 10 years of experience with Great American Photo. From a parent point of view, I have had my children photographed by this company on the soccer field, basketball court and preschool. All communications I received as a parent were from the Boys and Girls club or preschool who hired them. On picture day, the photographers were well prepared and organized with order forms readily available. If I was not prepared with my checkbook to complete my order, I was able to mail it in and receive my orders in a timely manner. The photographs have always turned out great. As the Director of a preschool, we have used this company for close to 10 years. The companies that we used before Great American Photo were not adequate for 2-5 year olds. Great American Photo has been successful photographing all of our preschoolers and the results are amazing even for the toughest little ones who require a lot of coaxing to get a smile. This year they even went on the playground with a class to photograph a child who refused to sit for them. I have received numerous compliments from parents about the photographs this company takes of their children. Also this school year, we have a parent whose child missed picture day and will be here attending the make up day. She has been so impressed with this company's photographs of her children in the past that she asked to bring her older school age children to the make up day to be photographed. I also want to note that Great American Photo provided with us postcards and posters about picture day and it was our responsibility to notify families about picture day and details.Lastly, all my interactions with Great American Photo have been positive and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Great American Photo and their photographers! As a Grandma, I have been attending my grandchildren’s sports events for years. And I find their photographers to be dedicated and professional to parents, coaches and the players. They arrive prepared and they work tirelessly corralling & shooting the best photos they can of the children on photo day. I’ve even seen them retake group shots because a coach or player arrived late! And it doesn’t stop there! They have personally called me when I neglected to fill out the order form correctly AND assisted me with any reorder or change in order. If that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. I honestly cannot understand why ANYONE would give them a one star rating!! This company is a must have on picture day or any other event. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. More...

Great American Photo has been our swim team's photographer for the past 2 summers. The professionalism that Jeff and his team exhibit is outstanding. They are able to organize and photograph a little over 200 swimmers in a short amount of time. The quality of final product was amazing. He also works with the families that would like individual photos of their swimmers. The turnaround time is fast but the quality does not suffer because of it. We will be using Jeff and Great American Photo for many summers to come. More...

I have been using Great American photo for more than 6 years, they are very professional, patient, and extremely well organized. We have used them for individual and team photos for our swim team. The swimmers are ages 3 - 18, the photographers are professionals who know how to work with kids of all ages, it is amazing to see how quickly and patiently they can organize 150 swimmers to take a team picture in the 90 degree heat. Every detail is carefully attended to both when taking the photographs and in the editing process, you would think we had 150 cooperative smiling angels when looking at the final product. I also use Great American photo for an annual Father Daughter Dance, they are amazing with the Dads and daughters, the pictures are wonderful, the girls and the Dads looked relaxed and happy in every photo. The worst part about dances is waiting in line to get your picture taken, with Great American Photo there is rarely more than a couple of people waiting, they keep everyone moving yet manage to take amazing memorable shots for the Dads and their young daughters. As a parent who has had multiple experiences with Great American Photo (at my child's elementary school, at my workplace), I cannot say enough good about them. Great American Photo is staffed entirely with kind and caring professionals. They are prompt, outgoing, and responsive. I have never had an issue ordering my kids' photos; in fact, the process could not be any easier. On team photo day I know exactly what to expect. Our coaches inform us ahead of time of the individual and group photo sessions, and when we arrive at the fields/courts, Great American Photo is ready to go with smiles on their faces. The photographers do an excellent job of capturing genuine smiles and I am always certain that we will get the best photos of my kids. The staff at Great American Photo has answered my questions in a clear way so that I know exactly what to expect when ordering. My children play sports, and all of the folks representing this company have always been super organized, efficient, and friendly. They are THE BEST in the business.
