First time using a pet sitting service. I usually leave my dog with family as I'm very picky who comes to my home and who takes care of my dog as she's a bit special in that she's hyper, obsessed with playing, skittish around strangers and not dog friendly. I contacted Got Paws online got a response a day later with information. I got scheduled to meet with Sam and Valerie. They were punctual to our meeting, they were both very nice, they're actually mother and daughter, they made me feel a bit at ease knowing that they have 3 dogs themselves and showed me pics of them!  I was still nervous about leaving for an entire week. Crazy dog lady here! They were scheduled to come once a week to work out the dog and feed her, I told them my preferred time in the evening but gave them a window of time, specific instructions of her favorite toys, her playtime routine, her food, what to avoid, etc. First day on vacation I receive a text from Sam, with pictures and details of her visit. She went at the exact time I had requested. Sam played with her, followed all my requests and fed her.  I have cameras around the house and I was able to see Sam playing fetch outside and my dog happily running around burning some energy. Sam was amazing during her visits. Valerie's was wonderful the times she visited she followed all my requests, was there at the exact time I had requested and sent me pictures and updates.  Sam and Valerie made a great team and I'm so glad I used this service. Such peace of mind knowing my pup was being looked after by people that care.  All 6 days they visited I got reassurance that everything was fine with pics, video and updates. The last day Sam texted me and she actually spent more time than normal with my monkey just playing and keeping her company. We are using Got Paws for the first time to watch our menagerie of animals - in particular our huge (young) Dobie and Pit mix which not everyone wants to work with - beyond impressed with the service! Not only have all the communications leading up to the pet sitting been timely and professional, the house visit so Amanda could meet our dogs served to make all of us very comfortable. I'm now literally ON the vacation and receiving updates AND pics from Amanda about our pets and how they are doing. This makes it so much easier to go on vacation because we are completely worry free. Lastly - the fees are very reasonable and we will definitely plan to work with Got Paws in the future. Nikki and Sam are wonderful!! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a guinea pig and needed help while we were on a 10 day vacation. One of my dogs is elderly and I just didn't feel comfortable leaving him in a kennel. After meeting with Nikki and Sam, I knew we made the right choice! I received daily messages and pictures while we were out of town...I didn't worry at all because I knew my babies were well taken care of. First time I left my dog since she was a puppy and I was very anxious about it. I was referred to Got Paws by a friend who is as crazy about her dogs as I am about mine and I was NOT disappointed! The decision to use a pet sitting service for the first time was extremely difficult. We are not only leaving our precious cat Spunky in the hands of someone we do not know, but we are also trusting this person with our home. Nikki and Haley did a walk through about 1 week before our departure. They took copious notes as we explained all the quirky details they need to know in order to begin giving us the comfort we needed to allow us to take some time away from home. Spunky is a scaredy cat. She hides when to doorbell rings and has never allowed anyone else touch her. Each day Haley texted a detailed report of each visit and included a picture of Spunky in one of her favorite hiding places. We knew how much she ate each day and whether she used the box. This was extremely comforting and helped increase our confidence. By the 5th day until the last, Spunky came out from hiding and allowed Haley to pet her. This is monumental. Recently, when the South Fire broke out we were in San Diego when our street was evacuated but our cats were still in our home. Luckily, we were having the ladies from Got Paws feed them daily and like true heroes they went to our house and got all 3 cats out and kept them at their own home until it was safe to take them back. I've never used a pet sitting service before, but with a bunny and an aging dog it was really nice to a) not inconvenience friends with twice a day visits and b) let the animals stay where they're most comfy. I'm not sure what took me this long to leave an update but here goes. I have had the most wonderful experience with Nikki and Bettina and all of the stuff with got paws! .They have worked with me since my brand new puppy came to my home and have been a pleasure to work with. Bettina is friendly, kind, warm and compassionate and my dog absolutely adores her. In fact he happy pees on her feet each time he sees her and yet she doesn't complain!? This was my first time using a sitter for my little buddy  Will so i was nervous about having a stranger come into my house while i was away to take care of him. I searched yelp and decided to use got paws because of their reviews and they were one of the only ones that showed that they are bonded and insured. I got Samantha for my sitter and she was awesome.  She was on time for the consultation and always texted me after her visit to update me about my little guy twice a day.  I even got a picture of him hanging out so that made me feel at ease while I  was away.  I would definitely recommend got paws if you need to go out of town and need someone to care for your four legged friend. Found Got Paws through Yelp reviews. Can't say enough good things about them. We have two dogs. One is a German Shepherd, who is a protector and Bettina was fabulous with him. It only took a couple of visits for our GS to love Bettina. it gave us great comfort to know, our dogs were well taking care of while we were out of the country. We have two dogs that have quirky personalities and Brittany has been absolutely amazing with them. She and the Got Paws staff are helpful, knowledgeable and experienced to handle any situation.  Brittany has stayed at our house numerous weekends and we can leave knowing that our pups are in good hands. I loved everything about the care given to my dog Bullet while I was out of town for a long weekend. The time Amanda took to meet and get to know Bullet was more then I could have asked for. Bullet is "sometimes" a protective dog, but Amanda is truly a pro, and my fears where gone after our consultation. I never worried about him while I was away. The pictures and text Amanda sent of Bullet on walks, playing ball, or taking a nap made me so so happy. This review is not just for Got Paws but our actual sitter Amanda as well. From the very start everything has been as easy as possible. Nikki (the owner) and Amanda (our walker/sitter) both came out home and introduced themselves to us and my two K-9 units. After the initial visit everything can be done online (billing,scheduling,contacting...ect...). Amanda has been incredible, my wife and I are the king and queen of last minute trips and she has always been very accommodating regardless of how wishy washy our plans can be. We get our daily pictures and text letting us know everything is going well. Our K-9's love her, which is saying a   lot because my dogs dont like anyone. I highly recommend Got Paws to ALL PET OWNERS & LOVERS!  This is the first time in many years I was able to go out of town for three days and be completely relaxed and secure in the fact that my two Golden Retrievers were well cared for.  Got Paws collects every detail about your pets and in this case, someone was able to stay overnight, give dog walks, bring in the mail, dispense medication and in general take care of my precious doggies in every respect.  Nikki, the owner, is hands on with all her staff and very knowledgeable, their website is extremely helpful and they match the clients' needs with members of their team perfectly.  Just give them a try and you will be amazed.  I am a "tough sell" and Got Paws met all my expectations.  PS - Got Paws was referred to ME by my sister-in-law who has been using them for years - she has 11 cats and 2 dogs in her home, and GP takes care of them all!Judi Clare - Canyon Country, CA More...

So very happy that our vet recommended Got Paws to look after our 15 year old fussy cat.  Like many others I've relied on friends/neighbors to take care of the old guy but now that he needs daily medications I didn't want to ask anyone to do more.  Well, my worries are over and I'm sure our friends feel the same.  It was wonderful to have both Nikki and Victoria come over prior to us leaving and explain the what they'd do twice daily to insure the best care for our critter.  Victoria send text pictures and notes from each and every visit to let us know all was well on the home front.  Could not have been more pleased with their service and will use them forever.  Ladies, a BIG thanks to you both! I was so pleased with Got Paws pet sitting service!  They are a well organized service that really cares about the client and caring for their pets.  I got contacted immediately and they worked around my schedule to arrange our initial meeting.  I not only met with my sitter Heather, but also the owner Nikki who made sure all my requests were followed.  I received text messages from my Heather at every visit on how it went.  I felt very comfortable leaving my 3 cats in her care, especially my 17 year old who required more care.  She took excellent care of them all.  Their rates are very reasonable and affordable for me.  I will definitely use Got Paws for all my sitting needs! I found Got Paws here on Yelp. I needed a sitter to care for my 4 cats and houseplants for a few days. This is my first experience with a professional pet sitter as I usually rely on friends and family but none were available on the dates I needed. I was immediately impressed with the prompt reply my initial e-mail inquiry received. I cannot say that about their competition who never responded to my emails or phone calls. Their loss. So Got Paws got big points right away.All correspondence was prompt, friendly, and courteous and I really appreciate that all the paperwork (intake information) can all be handled online. That is a really cool and professional touch. You can even pay online, which I didn't do this time because, oddly, I happened to have cash on hand. The pre-vacation home visit was quick and to the point and I got great vibes immediately. They understood what needed to be done and where things were and I didn't worry about any confusion. Besides we had already established excellent digital communication so I knew that if any questions came up we'd be in touch. Nikki personally took great care of my house. She sent a daily text to let me know how things were going and even a photo of my only social kitty (the rest just hide). I really appreciate knowing my pet friends as well as my house is under great care. I notified Nikki that we'd be coming home earlier than expected and she offered me the option to get a refund for that day. WOW! That's pretty awesome!I can't recommend Got Paws enough. Found them through Yelp and the reviews are spot on.  After a quick and efficient home visit (with profile information forwarded via email so we could have all the details filled out ahead of time), we were all set for Brittany to watch our two small dogs.  The service couldn't have been better, and felt she took care of the pups as though they were her own.  After a week away which included two overnight stays in addition to the twice daily visits, the dogs were calm and happy - no indication they'd even missed us.  Nice to have the house, plants and mail taken care of as well.Love the ability to request services, make changes to our personal info and pay all on line.  Really loved the text messages and regular photos from Brittany during the visits.  Couldn't be happier - Brittany is the best! Got Paws exceeded every expectation. They were professional, knowledgeable and anticipated every need of ours. We left for a 10 day trip leaving two 8 month old Golden Retrievers. This was our first opportunity to try a pet sitting service with our 2 year old Golden.  We gave Got Paws a try based on neighbor recommendations, and the number of 5-star reviews on yelp.  Nikki and Breena visited our home to meet our dog, bond with her, and take her for a brief walk to assure all would be well.  The half hour get-to-know-the-customer service was free, and provided our family with an indication of how professional and pet-focused this company is.  After receiving text updates each time the dog was tended to, and seeing how relaxed and comfortable the dog was upon our return, we are pleased to add another 5-Star review to the Got Paws portfolio!  If you are considering a Pet Sitting or Dog Walking service, definitely give Got Paws a call. You definitely get what you pay for! When we first moved to Santa Clarita last year we needed to find a new sitter for our two giant breed dogs. We both work from home and our dogs are used to us being home with them all day so when we're out of town we prefer someone to stay overnight with them and then visit mid-day. Got Paws had the highest ratings but were more expensive than what we were used to paying in LA so we opted for one of the other local sitters. Let me reiterate...you get what you pay for! We were not happy with the other sitting service and once we set up our home automation system we were seeing that they weren't showing up on time and not staying for the specified time. So we decided to start using Got Paws and we couldn't be happier! Bettina is our usual sitter and our dogs LOVE her! She always takes amazing care of them, gives them tons of attention, always texts me updates and photos and takes great care of the house while she's staying here. Never used a pet sitting service apart from a neighbor or friend....This was our first time....On a side-note.... I'm not particularly a fan of gambling on services that have anything other than spectacular feedback. ....so it was a no surprise that I chose Got Paws. Nikki was very professional and detailed with coordinating the visit beforehand listening carefully to our concerns...which was a much appreciated and seems to be standard practice for this company.    Amanda was our sitter and took exceptional care of our Frenchie. First time he was left in the care of anyone else. He immediately took to her caring personality. When away...She kept us informed with timely texts of visits and feedback as well as pictures. As if I need to add yet another 5 star review to this place...you can see they are great by these ratings! I feel so lucky to have such an amazing service right here in SCV. While of course we missed our 2 cats while on a week long vacation, we had no worries while we were away. Patti did a fantastic job caring for and playing with them, and texted us daily updates on their status. Our cats were totally calm when we got home.Communications with the Got Paws staff was easy through email, and the ability to pay online is nice.
