Tenacity! That is the only way to describe Lauren and her crew. We threw a 40th birthday party for my wife in my dad's barn and who knew it was going to down pour in December? ! Lauren and her team managed both stationary apps and delicious passed appetizers for our cocktail party that our friends are still raving about. Mole scallop tostadas! More of that please. Despite being in a literal down pour under a pop tent, in a driveway, with no running water and only a lame heater, her and her crew were smiling all the way and making it look easy.Lauren killed it at planning too. She went out of her way to meet with us several times to see the space and cover all the details, including checking and double checking our rental order and our drink purchases. When our cocktail game started to get complicated she suggested a bar tender and wow that made a huge difference, what a way to class up a barn party! Every detail was thought out and she was super easy to work with, suggesting what would be local and fresh at the time of the party and building the menu around it. She even was able to accommodate a late change to the menu when we threw some dietary restrictions of a few guests her way. I know we were the worst.Look, we aren't professional party planners and let's face it, you probably aren't either. Lauren was SO wonderful to work with! We planned a girls trip to Sonoma for the weekend, and Goodness Gracious Eats was seriously one of our favorite parts! The brunch was DELICIOUS, and we were able to do yoga out by our pool at our AirBNB, which was GORGEOUS! We could not have asked for a better way to start our day. Lauren was quick to return emails and easy to correspond with to create a memorable dinner at a private residence at the end of our trip. Chef Lauren came to our AirBnb to prepare a 4-Course meal for 12 of us ladies! We were celebrating my sister for her upcoming wedding and we could have not asked for a better evening in. Lauren handcrafted all of her food in the kitchen, decorated the tables and printed personalized menus. It was a one-of-a-kind experience and I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is looking for a private chef.For our main course she offered 2 different entrees. I selected the Sonoma mountain beef filet mignon with fig-balsamic compote, tallegio risotto and sauteed greens. Before tasting it I asked what her favorite dish was to make and she said her Pacific Salmon, the other entree that I did not choose. I was bummed that I did not choose that option. As soon as I took a bite of my filet, I was happy with my decision again. The beef was cooked perfectly and the risotto was the best that I have ever eaten. Goodness Gracious and chef Lauren prepared an excellent and unforgettable evening for us. We were in town at a rental house celebrating milestone birthday's and looking for a unique experience. Lauren and Brandy provided two delicious meals for our group of nine ladies! We LOVED the yoga + Bubbles brunch...amazing vegan meal (and i'm not even a vegan! ) and the yoga instructor was very experienced and lead a lovely class out by our pool. The dinner meal was also loved by everyone, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy vacation without having to plan and prepare every meal. Chef Lauren and her team are amazing! We used Goodness Gracious for our wine label launch party (Hamilton Wines) and our joint 40th birthday party. The event was super successful. Chef Lauren is amazing to work with. She is a great communicator, extremely organized, very creative, responsive and an amazing Chef. Her food was bright and so fresh. Our family came to Sonoma for a long weekend and worked with Goodness Gracious! to plan and execute a surprise dinner for my parents! Lauren was extremely communicative, catered to our dietary restrictions and needs, and put together a fantastic and super delicious meal at the residence we stayed at in Sonoma! My favorite part: she structured the menu around the seasonality of the food and ensured that we had the freshest and most local selections by going to the farmer's market the same day that she came to cook for us! Our experience with Lauren and Goodness Gracious exceeded all expectations. From choosing the menu, allowing for extra entree choices, to prompt email communication and a simple online billing the business of setting up a wonderful event built confidence that we had made the right choice. The food was AMAZING! Every item chosen with care and prepared with perfection. We talked about the salad dressing for days! All leftovers, which there weren't many, were gladly finished up the next day. Everyone enjoyed the entire experience. The flavors of the beef and lamb dishes we chose were super. Having Lauren, and her assistant, in our rental home to prepare, serve and clean up was so comfortable. They blended in with a very special 50th anniversary celebration of family and lifetime friends. The entire experience was perfect! Job well done. This month I jumped on the bandwagon to receive three freshly prepared meals weekly, made locally, by Goodness Gracious, Meal Kits and Catering.
I'm super swamped in life right now between starting a new job, training for a half marathon, rehearsing for my show and just trying to function as a normal adult �.
I needed a tool to ensure that my healthy eating did not fall by the way side. My prep time is minimal and fast food is accessible, but I knew I needed to give myself a break somewhere and this was a perfect way to balance it all. It's been great because I'm eating delicious meals with ingredients I recognize and is the perfect amount of meals to balance out my chaotic lifestyle. It's also gotten me out of my rut of eating the same foods regularly, which keeps eating exciting!
I just want to remind everyone that sometimes we need to cut ourselves some slack and find tools to help us! And I wanted to give out a shout out to the fabulous ladies who are feeding me three times a week! �

I try to eat healthy, but at the end of a long work day, sometimes I'm just not motivated enough to whip up a healthy dinner from scratch. I signed up for Goodness Gracious meal delivery, and of course picked the easiest, fastest option - Grab & Go. I love it! I ate healthy all week and had so much more time for other things. I appreciate that the food is healthy, mostly-locally sourced, and not loaded with sodium. Sometimes prepared food is too salty for my taste, but this was perfect. I'm a BIG fan of meal delivery kits! I've tried many and my favorites are SunBasket and HomeChef and have been really happy. Recently I heard that we had a local meal delivery kit company so I had to try them and I am so happy I did! First off, the meals were absolutely delicious, SO easy to make and quick! Not only that, their meal delivery kits produce the least amount of waste. I'm definitely going to be ordering from them again and I highly recommend you do too! I had been looking into a food delivery service for some time now but nothing seemed to fit my needs. Then it so happened that I heard about Goodness Gracious Meals and I thought I'd give them a try.
I was so happy to know they were local so I knew the meals would be fresh.
I have absolutely loved each meal I've tried. The Pulled Pork was probably the best I've ever tried, the Posole was mouth-watering and the Meatballs were top notch and that's just to name a few of the wonderful meals I've received the past two months I've been using Goodness Gracious Meal Delivery. The best part is you don't realize your eating healthy.
